    Looking good so far.
Will the great RB Rally be toppled!?

Not yet I’m afraid, but oh man Milestone is definitely my pick if I was meant to say which company is going to get to that level of realism. They are improving every year. I think as they are getting the stages right with this it seems, I think they should concentrate mostly on physics for next year. They are not a big budget company afaik and I’d say for a small company they’re doing a damn fine job so far of getting better every time. It’s all about progress, yea it’s slow but at least they’re trying! 🙂

and add to that that they always deliver what they promise. They stated that they will work on graphics, stages and physics. And as far as I can see from videos and tests from VVV and Inside SimRacing they have done that all. Sure, it is still not as hardcore as RBR, but hey, they improve their physics from year to year. And most important: they even manage to make it fun to play.

        There is no EA involved.

They should hire the RBR physics guy. He worked for the CARS for a while.

Not long enough it seems 😉

He is an old friend of mine actually. Finnish guy, extremely talented and with a high school education in vehicle dynamics. Haven’t spoken with him since he developed RBR. I got to test a prototype sim he was building as a hobby project which was quite impressive considering he did it in like 2 weeks! 😀

For the PC, WRC1 and WRC2 have the worst controller support of any modern racing game I have ever tried. NFSHP could get controller support right in 1998- these guys can’t 14 years later? Inexcusable. But 3rd time pays for all- if they manage to not screw it up yet again. If they get the controller situation figured out, I will buy the game and forget RBR ever happened. WRC2 was a good game ruined by poor controller support.
