Watch The F1 2020 Launch Trailer

Codemasters have released the first video trailer of their upcoming F1 2020 Official Formula One game.

Due to launch on next gen consoles & the PC in July, F1 2020 will be unique in the fact that the game might the first official Formula One game by Codemasters that will be released ahead of the first race of the real season being held as Formula One is still aiming for a start of the 2020 season in early July as a best-case scenario that is not set in stone yet.

Covid-19 hasn’t slowed down Codemasters progress on the new title though as the summer release will not just come with all cars, drivers and tracks of the upcoming season as we’re all used to, but also be filled to the brim with classical Formula One content as the game’s Seventy Edition will include the following historical cars:

  • 2010 Ferrari F10
  • 2010 McLaren MP4-25
  • 2009 Brawn BGP 001
  • 2008 McLaren MP4 –23
  • 2007 Ferrari F2007
  • 2006 Renault R26
  • 2004 Ferrari F2004
  • 2003 Williams FW25
  • 2000 Ferrari F1 2000
  • 1998 McLaren MP4-13
  • 1996 Williams FW18
  • 1992 Williams FW14
  • 1991 McLaren MP4/6
  • 1990 Ferrari 641
  • 1990 McLaren MP4/5B

If you’re willing to spend a tenner more, the Michael Schumacher Deluxe Edition will include a further four cars from the German’s iconic career:

  • 1991: Jordan 191
  • 1994: Benetton B194
  • 1995: Benetton B195
  • 2000: Ferrari F1-2000

The PC versions of both the Seventy Edition & the Michael Schumacher Deluxe Edition are now available for pre-order on Steam, F1 2020 will hit consoles and the PC on July 10.
