macci dESIGN, creator of rFactor tracks such as the Korea Circuit 2012, has released plenty of new previews of his Tsukuba track project for rFactor.

Plenty of progress has been made in recent weeks as the track is gearing up for a mid-September release. Until then, you can check out plenty of new previews below!

While not playing a big role in international motor racing, Tsukuba has been popularized by usage in video games such as Gran Turismo, the track is very popular with Japanese time-attack events.

Would be really nice seeing this Modern Tsukuba Track onto Assetto Corsa too!

But yeah – that attention to details is priceless!

why waist your time building something for rfactor 1 everyone will just ask it for ac or rf2

In my opinion – respect the track creator’s decision on where to start porting his work. He’ll eventually give permission to whoever may port the finished track over Assetto Corsa or rFactor 2 eventually.

Not all are very familiar to Assetto Corsa’s modding system since even KUNOS haven’t released a full documentation of it.

but there has already been a version of tsukuba for rfactor since 2006 https://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Tsukuba

That’s the 2006 version – way too old. This Work in Progress Tsukuba for rF1 is the current layout you’ll even see in real life. There’s nothing wrong seeing a revision of an existing track over rF1.
