    Thank you!

  • varis11

Someone releasing contents the day announced! Wow!
    Cant wait to try it

  • Chris Wright

Not had time to race this evening, but this will be the focus of tomorrow night’s simming, time permitting, for sure. AC badly needs full series mods. The GP2 one that appeared some time ago was so promising, but seems to have hit the buffers in terms of further development. Excited to try this one.

  • Gui Cramer

Not only this mod, but an update to Donington came out too ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Pashalis Gergis

Epic work! I also loved the fact that the modder took it to the old school methods we loved in previous sims with release dates, no unfinished betas, no pre-alphas versions full of bugs. Missed that quality of work.

  • Justin Cruze

    This looks awesome, thanks!

  • Luka Pakkanen

There’s problem with AI. They’re starting like in limp mode and then goes full throttle after 10 seconds.

  • KamyKazeRacing

Video of a lap around Paul Ricard. Those brake sounds ๐Ÿ˜›

    • Justin Cruze

Did you adjust your seating position by any chance? I’m struggling to even see the apex due to the low default position, but yours seems fine.

      • KamyKazeRacing

Yep. Used the Assetto Corsa app for seat position. That’s called Onboard settings.

Don’t know if I’ll have to do it everytime though. Didn’t saved it, as I feared it would change it for all cars.

      • Michael Hornbuckle

It saves per car…only FOV is changed for all.

      • KamyKazeRacing

Great. Thanks for the info. Gonna save it next time then.
        Default value is too wierd.

  • toyvonen

For me, the first AC mod with arms/legs, head…etc…the same land/benchmark, that Porsche Supercup 2005 was for RF1…and i hope this is the 1st of MANY to come!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!..there’s nothing like a good relation between real series and virtual simulation, for me this is THE KEY!

    MANY THANKS to ALL involved

    • wajdi nujeidat

The FFB is soft and strange with a lot of vibration! The sound( the brake sound) is annoying.

      • KamyKazeRacing

As I said on other comment, the real car brake sounds are like that, so in order to be a successful Leon Eurocup driver, you need to overcome that ๐Ÿ˜›

      • toyvonen

Well for me it’s OK..i do prefer more strong FFB, but i can achieve this easilly ingame parameters and in steering wheel ones…also, in reality, acording tro my friend Manuel Giรฃo, witch was a title contender this year in this competition, the wheel is extremely light and with not much feedback to the driver…that is probably a “problem” of VAG group, cause Filipe Albuquerque told me the Audi’s he drove from DTM and the WEC are also like that, so….

  • melanieuk1

Why oh why does all Assetto Corsa car mods suffer from wonky force feedback, and weird physics, parked in the pit, touch the brakes, and the steering goes wild, the brake sounds, sound like a school alarm, the only content that I’ve kept on my hard drive are the ones by The_meco, the URD corvette, Patrik Marek’s Nissan Primera and the Ginetta GT Supercup Bzyq, I’ll try this one again, once it gets more updates.

    • KamyKazeRacing

I guess you need to whatch a video of the real car, regarding the sounds.
They really sound like that. Annoying I know but real nonetheless.

I find it hard to get a good feel for AC like I do in RF2 but it’s strange you say that as this mod is the best feeling I get in AC.

      • melanieuk1

This mod does drive good, but it’s the weird ffb, I know it will be fixed, this is one of the mods I am looking out for, well done Tommy78.

      • BackMarker

I tried a quick run in this mod and the FFB is on par with other AC cars.

No, the FFB in AC is better than rF2. rF2 has that irritating center deadzone (I think it can be removed if you edit some files?) that really ruins immersion.

    • hexagramme

I’ve been through Hell and back again trying to sort out the ffb in AC… No can do. Something needs to change.. Big time.

      • melanieuk1

Maybe you should turn your force feedback down, and stop using your wheel with high ffb as a way of making your arm muscle bigger.
Nothing wrong with the default content that ships with assetto corsa by kunos, and most of the vehicle mods available to download on Race department are just fine, it’s just the ones that are not on that site that have weird ffb.

      • hexagramme

Aren’t you just adorable. A bit of prejudiced gender discrimination there, love it. All guys equals obsession with big muscles? Like I said… Adorable and very clever.

Maybe you should stop acting like you know me, or which ffb settings I use. I have spent 88 hours in AC, most of that time spent trying to dial in the ffb to make it at least tolerable. No such luck. It’s still mostly pretty hideous. Stock and 3rd party content alike.

Having made a sim that makes a wheel go crazy when a car is stationary… Then having to floor the brakes to make it stop rattling and grinding… You need to have another look at the core of your sim, no doubt.

      • Michael Hornbuckle

Sounds like you have issues….in the 900+ hours I have spent on AC, less than 2 of them have been spent getting my wheel dialed in.

      • melanieuk1

Quote”I have spent 88 hours in AC, most of that time spent trying to dial in the ffb to make it at least tolerable” End Of Quote.

Then stick to rFactor2, it’s for ‘Hardcore sim racers’, while the lesser sims are for casual’s, oh dear some of the negativity from the isi forums towards the other racing sims have rubbed off on me.

      • hexagramme

Again, with the prejudice. You sure are delightful to be around, aren’t you? ๐Ÿ˜›

I’m a sim racing lover; a lover of sim racing. That’s that, nothing more to add to that. You know nothing about me, yet you didn’t hesitate to put me in a box labelled “blind fanboy/internet warrior”. Good for you… I hope that generally works out well for you.

I want as many good sims to race as possible. I do however not like wasting my precious time, and that’s what I feel has happened with AC, in regards to tweaking ffb.

At first I honestly didn’t believe the ffb could be that bad, which is why I was convinced it was a problem on my end; broken wheel, weird settings, whatever. Again, no such luck. The ffb is what it is, and it’s not for me. Many are reporting the same issues, and AC is widely regarding as having “wonky” ffb, “numb”, “imprecise”, “rattling/noisy” and so on and so forth.

I drive AC when I feel lazy/tired, not in the zone, noncompetitive, and just want something pretty to look at. And it IS pretty, no doubt. And fun to a certain extent.

For racing though, I’ll spend my time elsewhere until/if Kunos decide to have another look at the ffb, the AI and the online portion.

      • melanieuk1

Has I said goodbye rfactor 2 is waiting for you, I don’t have to know you, to know that you’re one of those that like to take a dig at other racing sims, and developers on the isi forums, you’ll not be missed, have a nice day, and keep that ffb level up to 120 in your rfactor 2 super sim.

      • hexagramme

With that “daaah, talk to the hand” 13 year old girl attitude – you’re the laughing stock of the sim racing community, hands down. And don’t worry, I won’t be leaving anytime soon. ๐Ÿ˜›

I never said that I spent the entire 88 hours battling the mediocre ffb. I said I spent most of it doing that. You obviously got pretty emotional when you read my post, and in the process forgot to read it properly. It happens to the best of us. ๐Ÿ˜›

I’m not “bashing” AC. Again, if you dial down your prejudice against me, just a tad, and try to read through my posts, you’ll see that I acknowledge AC for its graphics. There is no “sim war”, even though that would probably fit your black/white world view a bit better.

“You’re one of those”… Hmm. I am “one of those”? Hardly. Like I said, I am a sim racing lover, all the way through. But I am allowed to be disappointed when a hyped up sim title doesn’t meet the actual level of hype, right..? We both know the answer to that one, don’t we.

You on the other hand expose your own embarrassing hypocrisy , with that whole “thing” you got yourself into a while back, when you bashed rF2 without even owning the damn title…. lest we forget. lol ๐Ÿ˜›

But wow, once again I’m impressed with the tone you’re using, and the amount of prejudice and narrow-mindedness you’ve been able to display in just a few sentences. *standing ovation*

      • Justin Cruze

        I certainly hope not….

Can’t speak for everyone but I much prefer AC’s FFB to any of the other current gen sims.

      • TC

I don’t know if is an front wheel drive issue. I drived a lot of FWD cars in a lot of sims and it’s very difficult to establish a good FFB. Maybe actual sim wheels don’t handle well this type of cars.

On the other hand, i find AC’s FFB direct and responsive. No problems at all.

  • Jardier

Great Great Great mod! Little comparison ๐Ÿ™‚

    • melanieuk1

SandroX did a great job in bringing the Salzurgring circuit to Assetto Corsa, now this mod just needs the two missing tracks to complete the race weekend, maybe we’ll get a assetto corsa career mode file for it soon.

  • Franklin Silva

alarm brake sounds are strange, how to disable it?

    • BackMarker

Is it supposed to indicate that the wheels are locking up? It sounds like it comes on whenever I hit the brakes! yeah, an option to turn off the alarm would be welcomed!

I need a brake alarm for all my cars in simracing to tell me when I am locking up my wheels!

  • 2Air

awesome mod!! 5 lap race at Donington to test it out

    • Matthew Arnold

I found something in the video… Its shaped like a nose ๐Ÿ™‚ can YOU find it haha

      • 2Air

lol, it’s my red nose for xmas ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Franklin Silva

Did you realize after installed this mod replacing fonts the corners distances markers are bugged? 50m = / 100m = // 200m = ///

      • 2Air

        well, honestly i hadn’t noticed…
but if i did, i wouldn’t be able to change that i think, maybe Tommy78 changed something, no idea

  • Matthew Arnold

One of the best mods ive tried. Good work Tommy ๐Ÿ™‚ edit. I HATE front wheel drive cars in sims. just because they dont feel fun to me. But this still scratches that driving itch for me so well done ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Roger Wallentin

Looking forward to some tight online races!!

  • Michael Hornbuckle

Here’s a few quick and dirty laps around Vallelunga Club.

I normally don’t care for FWD but this is pretty fun. Model is beautiful; really nice for a first release.
