The console game gets lots of new content and we get a few cars and 2 tracks?

  • scca1981

Ahh wait maybe this content will be on another $20 expansion pack called Race On Again 😎

Those classics should be an expansion pack for GTL.

  • DW

Its great news – Simbin haven’t forgotten old classics!

And I’d certainly take them as an expansion pack for RACE 07. A GTL expansion would be great but we all know its not possible.

If anyone gets this please share some screens of the new content. Checked the race pro homepage and there isn’t any type of information on either DLC.

ADD THOSE CARS FOR GTR EVO pleaseeeeeeee

Can’t help but laugh at you saying this game is played with an xbox controller. Maybe it’s not as realistic as a wheel, but this controller certainly gives immersion. Something the PS3 controller doesn’t. Also it’s fully analogue so you can be very precise.

I was positively surprised when I got Race pro. Of course I prefer a wheel, but this gamepad is the best by far, and Race Pro is the most realistic racegame on console by far.

  • MadCat360

Spa and Mid Ohio… two of the most legendary tracks ever!

  • carbonfibre

Indeed, lets get a comparison video done, Race Pro vs rFactor Mid Ohio. For once this will be a level playing field for graphics.

  • stabiz

    BMW 2002!

  • TopChancer

The version of Spa seems to have a lot of additional trees and trackside objects.

    😮 Volvo

  • gtrNL

If they bring us this for Evo/Race/STCC/Race On and it’s called Race xxx I’ll buy it in less then 0.2 heartbeat.

    Enthusia.

    A Mid-Ohio preview right after Spa, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sraUzAjGaNE

I must say, SimBin’s new cockpit view’s look ugly. Perspective, a terrible disappointment.

From Simbin’s facebook: This is not a repost… we have right now released even MORE content for the Xbox360 game “RACE Pro”. This latest DLC pack includes the Okayama and Estoril tracks and more new cars than you can shake a stick at, including Formula Master and WTCC 2008 cars! Images and video will be coming shortly.

Wow. Now that’s a proper kick in the teeth to the PC Simbin fans who are still waiting for another 2 months for that :sad2:

  • Floptickle

    Yep…

  • Mr. A

Now why can’t they just release these content packs via steam for a reasonable price instead of trying to rip us off by re-releasing Race07 again + small amount of new content for full price… :sad2:

  • Floptickle

Well, I think that Race On will be available as an Add-on on Steam 🙂

The addon packs were always available through Steam without having to buy race07 again.

  • phil23

I won’t pay my hard earned cash on a download though. I want a DVD to put on the shelf. I don’t mind getting the discs with Race07 etc on as they still charge less than a normal game. Though addon discs would be fine too.

Just it’s still very annoying that Race Pro is getting content originally announced for Race 07 nearly 2 months b4 PC release :weird: .

  • Raikku

Well, this DLC I could buy. First one didn’t interested me.

One problem is that I have “old” Box so I don’t have much HDD-space(7-9Gb free I guess just now).

lol, wtf was I thinking, I completely forgot. I blame lack of sleep… :shame: :ooo: 😆

Edit: I still think they could have just released content packs like on X360 though, instead of marketing every new release as a new game.
