Update: As many of you have already figured out, these shots are Slightly Mad Studio’s April Fools contribution! There’s some truth to them though as these screenshots show unedited footage of the current Project CARS build for the PC and it’s only a matter of time until console users will be able to enjoy similar graphics.
Slightly Mad Studios have released a first sneak peek of the console version of Project CARS.
Below are six previews, showing the next-gen console version of Project CARS running on a brand new platform – The Microsoft Xbox 720.
Microsoft’s next-gen console will obviously be very powerful as the preview show off some very impressive graphics and details, despite the console version being a rather early build and the SMS team pointing out that plenty of optimizations regarding things such as memory usage haven’t even been tackled.
While the console version isn’t available to anyone outside the development team yet, Project CARS’ PC version can be experienced by members on a regular basis. Membership starts at a one-time payment of 10€, for more info on membership pricing and benefits, please check out the WMD website.
