Slightly Mad Studios have announced the next licensing addition to their upcoming Project CARS title as Aston Martin joins the WMD powered simulation.
Project CARS will feature seven Aston Martin models, ranging from the 1959 Aston Martin DBR1 all the way to the company’s current GT race cars.
The addition of Aston Martin especially further bolsters up the title’s packed GT classes as Project CARS’ GT3 class will now feature models from eight different manufacturers, simulating the unrivaled variety that makes GT3 a popular racing formula around the world.
While fans of vintage cars will get their fix with some of Aston Martin’s early Le Mans legends, lovers of prototype machinery will be able to enjoy the DBR1-2, Aston Martin’s LMP1 prototype that was powered by the famous six-liter V12, on the best sounding engines in modern racing.
Three of the seven car models have already been added to the latest development builds for intensive community testing.
