Playsport Games have revealed the system requirements of the upcoming desktop version of their Motorsport Manager title.

Motorsport manager puts players in control of a single-seater racing team, allowing players to manage all day-to-day aspects of running and developing a racing franchise.

Motorsport manager games were a popular sub-genre in the late 90s with games such as Grand Prix Manager and Pole Position being very popular among motorsport-minded gamers. Motorsport Manager looks to continue that tradition, with a PC version that will come with vastly extended and redesigned gameplay compared to the mobile versions.

The system requirements for the Windows & Mac versions can be found below, a Linux version will be released shortly after the initial release in November.

Pretty much what I expected, as it’s a management style game it was never going to be a challenge to run.

Processor requirements seems a bit high. I have an i3-4130T which runs games great, apparently I can’t run this!

They are also strange, I mean if you recommend a FX6300 then the intel equivalent would be an i3 3xxx

I guess it needs the extra cores an i5 has given that the 6300 is a 6 core and the i5 a 4 core, the i3 are only 2 core if memory serves correct.

    I thought a pocket calculator would do…

I’m wondering if it is possible to mod. I find it hard to buy into Fake names it reminds me of PES vs FIFA

I hope they improve compared to the mobile version. I still play it on my iPad but there is not much progress when won the top championships. I just earn a huge bunch of money, have a lot of young drivers but the get pissed as they can’t race.

One funny thing in the hardware requirements:
OS X: AMD FX-6300, 3.5Ghz … there is no such CPU in a Mac.
But maybe they use hackintoshes for development 🙂
