Fanatec has produced an interesting video feature on Team Redline, arguably the world’s most successful sim racing team.

Not only is Team Redline the home of the world’s most famous sim racer, Finland’s Greger Huttu, the team has also managed to sign up plenty of real-racing talent to join their ranks, including drivers such as Richie Stanaway & Nick Catsburg and even a fully-fledged active F1 driver as Holland’s Max Verstappen is part of the team as well.

Watch the video feature that was shot at the 2015 SimRacing Expo below to find out more about what this impressive team does!

He states that he doesn’t want to hear Sim Racing called games then says that they always look out for people that are good across multiple games…..SIMS….ahem.

Great video. It is really great to see simracing becoming serious e-sport and a great tool for real world racers. Yesterday, watching Austin GP I was wondering how many virtual laps did Max Verstappen before the race because his behavior on the track has been simply stunning – he exactly knew how to drive to attack and what to do to defend – really impressive.

Seriously cringeworthy. To put that rig next to a real race car on the race track just shows how ridiculous it is to say that “sim racing is the purest form of motorsport”.

I’ll bet those engineers would love to be able to adjust sliders for gear ratios and spring rates. 2 seconds of clicking vs. hours of wrenching.

    Where’s the reset button, btw?
