iRacing has announced to have started scanning the Dover International Speedway, signing the final remaining NASCAR Sprint Cup track license for their online racing simulation.
With most NASCAR Sprint Cup tracks already being available in the simulation and others, like Pocono, coming up soon, the 1 mile race track near Dover (Delaware) was the final Sprint Cup venue to be licensed for usage in iRacing. This pretty much completes iRacing’s lineup of tracks in the United States as all major ovals and road courses are either already available or scheduled to be released in the future.
In related news, iRacing continues to get some great coverage in major press outlets, introducing lots of new people to the concept of virtual racing. Following the article in Sports Illustrated three weeks ago, iRacing has now been covered in RACER magazine, you can check out the article here.
