This is good news, even though I suck at Management games. The last one I played was Microposes’ GPWorld. Couldn’t make it past the first two seasons with out going broke from debt. lol
This should be good to play with a few friends.

Codemasters also have a free-to-play F1 management game coming in 2012 I believe. Seems these games are like buses, you wait ages for one… then two come along at once.

I’m disappointed that it doesn’t seem to include real driver names.

      Licensing

This is why Codemasters are releasing types of F1 games for multiple hardware. One would assume the deal for license from FOM is cheaper for say 10 titles than it would be for three.

Just looks like GPRO with better graphics.

Is that multiplayer? I had a quick look at their site but cannot see any indication that it is.
If it isn’t then I would say that this seems like a much better incarnation as that aspect alone adds so much to a game like this.

GPRO is multiplayer. So is MyGPTeam. This new one just looks like prettier graphics.

I quit GPRO because it took too much micromanagement, the car development was too basic, and if you had too good of a driver you couldn’t use him. I like the car/driver management better in MyGPTeam, though they have some issues with abandoned teams taking up spaces.
