Hungaroring Texture Update – Previews

6e66o is working on another one of his popular texture updates for rFactor tracks, overhauling the Hungaroring this time.

Made for the Hungaroring by EMG, the texture update will vastly improve the look of the 4.3 kilometer long Hungarian Grand Prix venue as you can see in the comparison shots below. Aside from new textures, his update will also include correct Formula One Grand Prix advertising boards.

    Not a fan of the track. Best thing that could be done to improve the real track is to detonate a nuclear device on it. And this lameass Tesco Car Park of a track just got it’s F1 contract extended to 2016…

    Actually it´s not only a Texture update,
    I changed quite a lot.

    – new textures
    – new materials
    – new shaders
    – some new objects
    – working videowalls
    – waving flags
    – moving cloud(-shadow) system
    – adjusted ambient colours
    – adjusted RoadBumpAmp
    – a lot of small fixes

    That´s why im gonna upload it as a standalone track,
    as its not compatible with the old EMG Version anymore.

    Are you going to fix the AIW problem when some cars are being spawned out of the track?
