GT3 Mod for Project CARS – New Audi Previews

The Machine Dojo Modding Team & ShadowWorks have released new previews of their massive GT3 mod for Project CARS.

The Machine Dojo Modding Team & ShadowWorks have released new previews of their massive GT3 mod for Project CARS.

With Project CARS already featuring a packed GT3 class, the team vows to fill the remaining voids by creating cars such as the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan GT3, the 2016 Lexus RC-F, the 2015 Cadillac ATS-V.R GT3 as well as the 2016 Callaway Corvette C7 GT3.

Below are plenty of new previews of the 2015 Audi R8 GT3, showing some amazing quality modeling as the teams are trying hard to match the quality standard of Project CARS stock content.

Wow! Impressive high quality stuff. Looks great.

  • omft

isn’t that illegale ? pcars don’t allow mods at all.

    • Markus Ott

There’s a difference between not supporting mods or forbidding them. SMS just decided that they don’t want to support modding.

      • http://www.gonzocalcio.it delpinsky

I’m member of the WMD Community and for me quality modding is more than welcome! I don’t remember reading anything about the WMD against modding.

      • Pablo Coronel

Im a WMD member, crowfunding pCars since day one and we support modding.

    • pez2k

Ian Bell himself has said he’s fine with modding pCARS as long as it doesn’t use any ripped content. As Markus below says, the game doesn’t go out of its way to offer mod support, but it doesn’t really block mods either.

  • Easy DaRon

No later than 2017 and even GT3-cars will look like prototypes rather than race cars based on road-versions. Then they will race together with DTM and Super GT 500.

    • Marco Hooghuis

If this is what the future of GT3 looks like, then bring it on I’d say. These things look super awesome to me.

  • IceT

That’s one agressive looking car, same for the Huracan super trofeo.

  • RapidRefund

Wow good job. I would like to know what they are doing to implement the physics and TM? I always think it is good for 3rd parties to have a crack at all the different elements involved as we have seen many improvements in the past from the mod community.

  • Brownninja97 .

imagine how epic it would be if GT1 rules came back and you had to make road versions of these cars.

    • teefo

I think they call it the “Audi R8”

      • Brownninja97 .

no i mean with the fancy bodykits and spoilers etc. what you said is basically comparing a porsche 911 gt1 to a standard 911.

      • Roy Rki

F&F is not fashionable anymore. It is better to sell stock cars and those who want, can rice them later.

      • Brownninja97 .

the aston martin GT24 disagrees and that crazy bentley cements that fact.

      • RapidRefund

I agree options for the ones spending the money are good! If they want to pay they should get what they want from the manufacturer

      • Brownninja97 .

more importantly us clowns can enjoy those cars in sim racers

      • RapidRefund

pCARS content is hit or miss. Mostly hit and very much sim if you just want to judge the title only by the cars that are a miss so be it we will not miss you on game day!

  • toyvonen

    IMPRESSIVE in all the ways!!!
The real car is already impressive, as the most recent GT3’s are and future GT fusion will be…
The fact that there’s a modding team with such talent delivering a mod representing GT3, and for PCars….what a dream!

    THANKS

  • kauff

This would be fantastic! Great news and thank you!

  • cubadoo1

Can u please convert this to assetto?

    • Pablo Coronel

      Of course!

  • Sloeri

Looks very impressive ! way to go guys !! 🙂

  • Charles Sami Amyouni

Not trying to be sarcastic or anything but… isn’t (“trying hard” to match the quality standard of Project CARS) a bit harsh? No offense but I do really think that’s a wrong choice of words.

It should be “Doing their best” instead.

    • Mark McQuillan

I’d say it’s the other way around. ‘Trying hard’ implies they’re putting in a lot of effort to make the very best they can. ‘Doing their best’ sounds patronising. Like they’re not that great but at least they put in the effort.

    • Pablo Coronel

At all, URD, Enduracers or ASR are in the level, sometimes better than any comercial big budget studio.

  • varis11

Nice!! Don’t know who has to match who

  • todemanjack

Will they get new cars to show up in the Quick Race filters? And if yes. Can someone modify those filters. So we can have proper mixed class races? That seems more important to me. Than even adding new cars.

  • gt3rsr

    Damn, those R8s look MEAN!!!
