Just days after the news that the mass-production of Gran Turismo 5 Blu-Ray discs has indeed started, a first photo now reveals what seems to be one of the seven million discs Sony will be producing for the worldwide launch.
The photo shows what is said to be the Australian retail disc, even though the photo has not confirmed to be legit yet it seems somewhat likely that someone has been getting his hands on a very early copy. Despite Sony having not announced a new release date yet, more and more evidence keeps pointing towards a late-November release now.
For example, the Sony Store lists the game to be ready for shipping around November 30th. Even though online stores aren’t exactly the most reliable sources when it comes to release date, the Sony Store should have better info than other retailers.
Gran Turismo 5 will be bringing 1000 cars and over 60 tracks to the Playstation 3, including new features such as damage, weather and day/night effects. GT5 will be one of the first six Playstation 3 games to be available in 3D.
