Gallardo Valentino Balboni for Assetto Corsa – First Previews

Radiator Springs has released first previews of the Lamborghini Gallardo Valentino Balboni for Assetto Corsa.

A year ago, Team Radiator Springs released the first, and only, add-on car for netKar Pro – The Lamborghini Gallardo Valentino Balboni.

Now, the team is moving on to Kunos Simulazioni’s newest title as the Italian Stallion will enrich Assetto Corsa.

Needless to say, the team is doing much more than a simple conversion as the car is freshly modeled to make most of the new platform. You can find plenty of previews of the new model in its early stages below.

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni is a leightweight version of the standard Gallardo, weighing just 1380 kilograms and being powered by a 543hp V10 engine.

Looking good! But the most important of this car is the SOUND!!!

Many of us feel the physics are of far more importance than sound but I read they have a professional sound guy on the team so I’m sure they will be great.

Well good physics is a Requirement in a sim title, not sufficient. So many mods still have awful sounds unfortunately so I too hope AC will nail it on all ways

Also not forgetting the LP55-2 is a rear wheel drive, which should make it fun to drive, in comparison to regular four wheel drive Gallardo’s.

Really looking forward to this RWD well balanced car in AC!

I have driven the LP 560-4 so it will be interesting to compare it to the implementation in AC! I have also driven the Ferrari 458 which also will be great to evaluate!

So far GT5 has the most realistic simulation of these 2 road cars, if the cars in AC all come out as realistic as the Elise in the tech demo we have a new road car simulation king!
