In my opinion the screens are just way too far away. The center screen should be right behind the wheel.

  • SBKRacer

in this you definately need an helmet if we go by the quality of their wheels this thing can make a fall a bit dangerous!

At that price I would rather buy a real car. There is no way in hell I would pay that much for a cockpit. I dont care if it comes with 10x PS3 its not worth it. Why cant Fanatec make a cockpit for people like me that arent loaded?  I dont need a screen , console or sound system included. I have all those things already.

It’s ugly as sin but I wouldn’t refuse one as a present 🙂

  • F1Racer

I prefer screens further away.  Too close ain’t healthy.

  • Ghoults

    What’s not healthy?

  • Mark

Cool, but to be honest you could set that up yourself, buying things individually, much cheaper.

Racing with a screen six inches from your face for hours on end.

Ghoults is right, You don’t sit on the back seats when you’re driving.

  • Ghoults

I’d pick six inches over twelve feet any day. The perfect distance to monitor would be something like 2 feet though. Not 6 inches. But an overexaggeration is an overexaggeration  😉

Sorry mate, but that’s actually medically wrong.

I spent 20 years of my life approximately 30cm (a foot) away from a computer screen, from 8 to 12 hours a day.

My eyes were still perfect at the last medical examination (10 & 11), and the doctor confirmed to me that screens ARE NOT bad for your eyes, this is just a myth.

    Yup, I really don’t understand Thomas…

He builds great wheels for affordable prices, but what is this ?
    Utterly useless and ridiculously overpriced.
No motion ? For 10.000€ ? Why in the world would ANYONE buy that ? I built my own motion cockpit in aluminium for a third of that price…

Unless it’s aimed at professionals for the E3 and other kind of shows ?

  • Steve Farrell

Its actually medicaly proven that if you sit too close to a monitor or read a book close to your face that in your later years you will have eyesight problems. Its not the
