FanaLEDS for Live for Speed – Video

Gerben Bol is working on a very cool application for Live for Speed users, making full use of the built-in display of Fanatec wheels.

His FanaLEDS application allows the built-in display that’s normally used for wheel tuning settings to display various telemetry data, including:

  • Pit limiter
  • Shift lights
  • Low fuel indicator

The tool is fully configurable and works with several Fanatec wheels, including the Turbo S & GT2 Porsche models as well as the brand new CSR & CSR Elite.

You can check the 0.1 version of the tool at work below. If you`re a Fanatec & LfS user and want to beta test the tool you can contact the author here.

i believe its delay in the trye model right? maybe they should just release the content then the tyre model as an update, too many would of jumped ship else surely?

      • Skytrill .

Yeah it would have been the best idea to release new contents when they started working on the new tyres physics 3 years ago but they didn’t knew how long it would take to simulate it as close as possible to reality while being able to run on generic CPUs. From what I heard the patch could have been released by now if everyone would be running high spec PCs.

I would expect S3 to release not too far after the next awaited tyre patch but that’s just a wild guess. I’ve been racing LFS in the past few days and I can’t believe how good it still feels.. especially with low powered cars. It’s body dynamism is still unmatched to me but the tyres feels too “slippy” when too much torque is given (enhance the preference for low powered engines!).

The ability to import tracks would be huge for LFS.  I could never figure out they are so dead set against this.

Can i use the LED modification on my GT2 without Clubsport pedals please? Dont have CSP_Fanatec.ini in iRacing cause i have CSR pedals. Is there possible to get this .ini without CSP to modify just for LEDs?
