Endurance Series – URD Partnership Announced

Team Enduracers has announced a partnership with the United Racing Design group, allowing an exchange of 3d models across the two teams.

Team Enduracers has announced a partnership with the United Racing Design group, allowing an exchange of 3d models across the two teams.

Both teams will be remaining fully independent but share 3D model resources, an agreement that makes a lot of sense considering the teams’ shared love for sports car racing and overlapping car projects.

As first part of the new agreement, Enduracers will be including URD’s Corvette C6.R and later C7.R models in the later versions of their upcoming Endurance Series Mod for rFactor 2.

EnduRacers Modding Team and United Racing Design agrees graphic ressources exchanges.

EnduRacers is happy to communicate that we have agreed with URD team some graphic ressources sharings, within the development of our own mods. The agreement will benefit each team to use some 3D models created by the other one for free activities.

Each team remains free to develop any 3D model without limitation. For Enduracers this agreement will help us keep the Endurance Series rF2 mod alive after the upcoming build 1.00 release, knowing that we are suffering skills and available talents to develop new 3D models. The first concrete application for Enduracers is the integration of the Corvette C6.R (GTE spec) and the Corvette C7.R Stingray. The C6 will be included in the first release, and the C7 in a upcoming build.

We would like to thank Alless for his generosity.

Well, that’s good news to any sim fan, IMHO. It benefits us all when two of the best modders in the community can share resources/content.

Yep, never understood why some moders don’t just work together. Everyone wins.
Same goes for some forums running grids of 10 cars at the same time when they could just race together and have 20~30 people in the grid

Yes this is really good news. A win-win for everyone, especially the end users.

Enduracers shaping up for a DLC I wonder.. ??

    • Marc CHAPELLE

We dont plan such things. We will add the c7.r in a later build, in order not to delay the build 1.00

Even if they do it will be money well spent.
We can’t expect this quality free forever and still complain about modders quit modding. At the end of they day they need an income to pay the bills in real life, like all of us.
