Endurance Series for rFactor 2 – First Previews

Team Endurancers have released a first batch of previews of their much-anticipated Endurance Series mod for rFactor 2.

Team Endurancers have released a first batch of previews of their much-anticipated Endurance Series mod for rFactor 2.

After creating one of the most popular and extensive mods for rFactor, the team has now moved on to ISI’s newest platform, showing us plenty of shots of the cars in their brand new environment.

The first batch of previews shows early WIP shots of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE, the Oreca 03, the Zytek, the Corvette C6R ZR1 as well as the Flat6 GTC.

To get their huge mod done, the team is still looking for capable hands to help out with the tasks at hand, especially with regards to 3D modeling. If you think you have what it takes, contact them on their website.

YAY ISI’s GOT SOME BACKUP!! Can’t wait for the release of this as I feel a complete revival of the title where I am concerned.

Anyway Enduracers on Virtua_LM tracks is some of the finest racing simulation in the industry altogether

      • Paul Maguire

Are virtualm working on any other tracks? Serious lack of high quality tracks in rf2.

      • RapidRefund

        We can only hope so.

        Watkins Glenn

This year they updated Mid-Ohio (2.01) and Sebring (2.01).

      • RapidRefund

        Historic and modern versions?

      • TC

        Modern i think.

      • RapidRefund

Well I have a situation where I spent a lot of time on Virtua’s Fuji track and then tried a modern layout of the track as was like WTF? I liked the older layout much better

DRM mod Groups 5’s on Virtua_LM tracks for me please, I desperately want this to come to rf2.

    • F1Racer

I was a bit of a latecomer to the rf2 stable because it didn’t have the best of starts imo. But it deserves all the modding support it gets. It took me some time to see it but I do recognise rF2 as the best racing sim out there for the serious players. I’m sure stating my opinion will be met with flak as if I’m not allowed to have one 🙂 But I play and enjoy all the current sims.

So yeah, great to see Enduracers doing their mod for rF2.
Maybe it’s too much to ask for DRM to go there too but we can hope.

Preach the truth, brother. I’m with you.

      • Pablo Coronel

        I forgive you.

  • apex55

Wow! The Enduracers modding team produced one of the greatest mods ever with RF1. I can’t wait to see what they deliver with RF2 physics at their disposal. This has the potential to be the greatest mod ever. I’m excited!

  • svdb

    Looking really, really nice actually!

  • tomolart

oh boy oh boy oh boy!

  • F1Racer

Oh bring it on !!! Yes !

  • itsmedave

  • Pablo Coronel

    Can’t wait!!!

  • Joe Martin

OMG, omg, omg, omg…. I loved their work on RF1, I can’t wait!

  • Hash

Blows me away ppl can still do this kinda quality without charging, its looking s**t hot, will have to find that donate button.

    • S- mann

very easy its on their webside
      great mod in f1

  • Ian Hare

I wonder if we will see a full Le Man’s grid for one year? Nice work, looking forward to release!

  • Leeman

Outstanding. Once this is installed, it’s unlikely I’ll race anything else in rF2 for a long, long time.

  • Depco

The Mod is looking great and the team has proven itself with the rF1 mod. I have not played rF1 with this mod because I am a latecomer to racing sims and I started out with rF2. However, by all accounts that I have seen and heard this was a top shelf mod and THE mod to have. I am looking forward to its release.

  • Jetexocet

This is a major shot in the arm for Rf2. Looking forward to it. As Hash said below, free content/mod of this stable’s quality is humbling.

  • ImageArtSigns .

This is fantastic…as I still have this mod installed in rF1 and still use it, and even reinstalled it when purchased the Steam version of rF1 and now it’s coming to rF2…oh happy days.
As someone said below I would be happy to donate as well.

  • BackMarker

another latecomer to rf2 and never played rf1 or heard of this mod team. from the sound of the other posts this should be a good mod.
    : )

    • Robert Every

Enduracers is probably the most complete and best mod on RF1. It is very professionally put together, so much so you should really be paying for it. So I would imagine this will be the same

      • BackMarker

If the quality is good I will gladly pay! I bought the URD mods and they are worth every pence! I did try the free GT3 mod (Apex modding or sumfink?) it was quite poor in comparison to the URD work. imho, ymmv
        : )

You will never be complete as a sim racer until you experience the work of the Enduracers and Gentleman’s Physics Team

  • maranello55

Is this gonna be another round of ‘rf2-has-some-features-not-perfect-so-dont-even-buy-it-go-play-simcade’?

  • Matthew Arnold

I know these guys will do an amazing job of the modelling, art and physics. But im just gonna put this out there and say I think they should approach ISI, and see if they can give their physics files a glance over before going live, that would only add to this mod and make it even more amazing than im sure it will already be 🙂

  • e_r_n_i_e

The Endurance series mod is a great, very polished and very popular mod for rFactor, but i have to admit that i wasn’t really a fan of their “wooden tyre”
physics. (Just my opinion 😛 )

However …. i’m really looking forward to the new mod, because i’m curious, what the team can achieve with the improved tyre model and physics of rF2.
And rF2 is the right platform for an Endurance mod.

  • Kev

What these guys did with rF1 was nothing less than unbelievable. rF2? Can’t even imagine. Even saying that this will be a full game in itself would be an understatement. More like a sim racing career. And I mean a human sim racer’s career in that this alone will be able to easily keep someone occupied for the rest of their life.
