For me this is the best mod ever produced. The time I’ve spent running on rF (even with all the other sims available to me) in the 100s of hours. Thanks for bringing it to rF2.

    • mooves

Just spent the last hour driving RSR, F430, Zytek, Aston at Sebring… WOW! The interior / exterior, sounds, FFB, suspension feeling, turn in, drivability is just brilliant. Thanks to the whole team.

      • http://racingrenders.com/ F1Racer

It is good. Even when power back on the throttle out of a corner I can feel even when the rear is just slightly breaking away and already make numerous corrections through the exit until I can finally floor it. It’s so satisfying.

    • Kev

      100s of hours? That’s < 1 championship lol

  • HammerX

OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH!!! DOWNLOADING NOW!!! TY so very much!

  • gianluca p

Yesss. Thank you so much for this. 🙂
It’s also in the Steam workshop if someone is interested.

  • Richard Hessels

    x-mas comes early this year!

Nice. This was easily one of my favorite mods for original rFactor. Really looking forward to giving this a spin with rF2. Thanks, guys!

Great stuff guys ! Long awaited. Many thanks !!

  • Paul Maguire

    Anyone online these days?

  • http://racingrenders.com/ F1Racer

Just did a race at Silverstone with the GTE class. I popped myself into a BMW M3.
Phew! That really took it out of me. I got nerfed off on the start lap (as happens a lot in sims when you start near the front – as if a higher power somewhere wants you at the back before the end of lap 1).
So instead of re-starting, I just powered my way through. Driving as fast and as hard as I could while keeping the car on the track (most of the time). I ended up 8th out of 23.
But I had a headache, my wheel fan was whirring like a good ‘un, I realised the amount of grip I was using on the wheel, my back was sweaty (ugh!). As is usually the case with rF2, I really felt like I’d been in a race.

rF2 is not my most used sim but, for me at least, it IS the sim that gives me the most immersion, demands more of my attention and at the end makes me feel as close to what the real race must feel like, more than any other sim out there – and by quite a way.
Driving the Endurance mod in rF2 just highlights that even more.
Superb mod, well polished and in it’s rightful home in rF2.
I actually need to rest a bit now and give my head a chance to calm down. Just due to pure concentration.

I can only imagine what the P2 Series must be like.

    Outstanding.

I don’t think anyone can summarize rFactor 2 better than this. It’s an unpolished brute, but hopefully this will change in the future with Studio 397. I can’t wait to pair this mod with the URD LMP1s and have a complete WEC field. Haven’t had a chance to try it yet, but these guys made me fall in love with LMPs with the Epsilon Euskadi mod, they simply can’t fail.

You speak the truth .:D .

    • William Mazeo

What the guys belloe said +1. Nobody can do this better than rF2 right now, too bad ISI never developed it as it deserved. Hopefully it’s not too late for Studio 397 but not holding my breath on it.

  • ImageArtSigns .

Lets hope Studio 397 see this and go…This is Permanent Content, it’s worthy

  • gianluca p

I love this game. With all those prototypes now is super.
Any chance to see also an HistorX Gt & Touring mod conversion for RF2? Did the modders that made it said anything about this possibility in the last years?

    • anonymouse

They started it years ago alongside an AC version. But while not officially cancelled, they could be both considered dead.

      • Rantam

Thanks for trying but there’s no need to answer on our behalf 😉

Long story short: we tested the modding capabilities on both sims, as long as what they offered from the player point of view but sadly none had at that point what we considered necessary to invest the huge amount of effort needed to develop the kind of mod we like to create. If you consider that as being dead it’s OK. But I don’t.

Having said that, let’s go back on topic, which is this superb mod Enduracers has just released 😉

        Regards

      • Hash

HistorX Gt & Touring stand alone confirmed?

      • Rantam

Hahahaha. I didn’t see that one coming… I’m afraid not, my friend 🙂

      • S- mann

We do 3 races each week HistoricX on rf1 thats great and fun i also hope to get this on rf2 , so hurry pls. 🙂

Endurance Series rf2 finally have it just tried it and its Fantastic together with the best FFB in town by Rf2

      • Hash

Shame, It would be my number 1 sim if so….

      • anonymouse

If for whatever reason a mod is no longer in development, there is little room for interpretation.

You can call it “No ETA until further notice” if you prefer, but if after years since the last update you state that both projects on both games are not going further as mentioned both games do not offer what you’re looking for in terms of features (which I do agree with as, as a modder myself, I was very disappointed in AC aswell and had to cancel my own projects and stick with rF1), then it’s either dead or dying, nothing more, nothing less.

Do not take it as disrespectful, because if I thought you guys were vaporware, I wouldn’t have spent the past few months painting hundreds of historically accurate liveries for all your cars. You could’ve just said it sooner rather than going silent.

      • gianluca p

There’s nothing wrong speaking of HistorX in this post. I bet all of us here are interested to know if there is a chance to see the mod (or part of it) converted for this generation of simulators.
Studio 397 said they are going to introduce the support for the RF1 tire model and other features in RF2. Is there any chanche that you guys start considering again to bring the mod in RF2? I known it’s lof of work to do the all thing. But you could start with just one class of cars and based on the players response see if it’s worth it to do the full thing.

  • Jetexocet

I think rFactor 2 truly has the potential to become the best sim currently available. It isn’t that all encompassing sim at the moment, but what Enduracers and Gentlemen Racers has again emphasised with this mod, is that the core ingredients it needs is there, it just needs a good spit and polish.

  • Marc Collins

I am sure this will be popular online, but with rF2’s superior AI that doesn’t fall apart with mixed-class racing, it is great offline, too.

    • Jetexocet

Hi I just saw your comment come up, and I must say as a preferred offline racer, this mod takes AI to the next level. It is the best I’ve experienced so far.

  • Paul Maguire

hmm.. after a long run with AC whats up with the dead feeling under braking in rf2, not just this mod but in general? There is zero information in the wheel, lock up or not, no feeling what the car is doing.
Also when the car is sideways, so little info. IMO AC ffs is better, way more info.. can really feel its planted into the ground.. but rf2 has some interesting forces.. but under braking there is nothing and i have a CSWv2

    • HammerX

Maybe you need to adjust your ffb settings via Notepad ++ or something?

      • Paul Maguire

Idk in rf2 i am braking but doesnt feel like it.. in AC i know i am braking cause i can feel it.. just so numb in rf2

    • Joe Nathan

      Your settings need work then.
AC feels a little more muted compared to rF2 IMO.

      • Paul Maguire

I have default, why should i have do anything.. it should just work.

      • Paul Maguire

check my new reply. its opposite for me

      • Joe Nathan

Lol why would you want your wheel to lose its mind when you brake? Your AC example just doesn’t seem right to me.

      • Paul Maguire

I was only using one hand so it looks like that, rather that than no feeling at all

      • D3

A bit late, but it was always something I found off in AC. When you brake hard and near lockup, the wheel vibrates and shakes around with a speed dependent frequency, something a locked or near locked tyre wouldn’t do. So my wheel would be buzzing going into corners which is always off putting

What I can feel in the wheel in rF2 is the car darting off if it’s on a poor surface under braking, and the “movement” of the rear, as in if it starts to come around on me. But you do not get a feedback for plain braking strength bar the visuals.

In quite a few race series they have brake buzzers in the drivers headset unit, that alert him when he is locking. It isn’t the easiest thing to tell from the wheel.
In this years Bathurst race, one driver had his buzzer stop working, and you could see him start to struggle to stop the car consistently and he started to lock up a lot more.

I guess it’s a design choice between giving us extra feedback as a compensation of all the senses we lose in sim racing, or the other side of just keeping it inline with reality, leaving it up to us to adapt our senses.

      • quf

Trying the lamborghini aventador sv and the porsche 918 when you brake at the end of a straight you feel the car moving at the rear. And the steering wheel follows these forces of body (suspensions) movement, is not shaking.

      • D3

Yeah, that’s also what you feel in rF2. Malaysia is a great circuit for it, coming into T1, if your line is wrong, you can feel the car pull off and dart around.
This locked wheel shaking still occurs for me though, maybe it can be turned off?

      • quf

It depends on the settings of your wheel, if is too tight at the center it can shake more than normal. So try with lower min.force% in the game settings. What’s your wheel?

    • Richard Hessels

Make the minimum force a bit higher, should help.

      • Neanderthal

Get a FFB upgrade when you select your car ingame, try 20 or 30% more depending on your wheel.

      • RKipker

        I have a TX300, I will try this.

    • Paul Maguire

      ill make a vid

    • Chris Lesperance

Links for the pics appear to be dead. Without seeing them, are you sure you are driving on a rubbered in race track? It will take about 10-15 min of running with a full grid before the track builds in grip. The cars will feel a little bit off until that is achieved.

    • Rantam

Well, I prefer rF2’s FFB to AC by far. But anyway try this: you might need to get a FFB upgrade when you select your car ingame. Gonzas shared that tip with me and the 30% FFB upgrade really works great for my Thrustmaster T300. Hope that helps!

      Regards

    • S- mann

Thats because Rf2 ffb is way better cuz if you loose feeling under braking means the car is loosing grip i feel also when overturning the car with me osw losing grip is loosing control

  • HammerX

I sense a Gamer Muscle or a Empty box review coming soon. 🙂

    • gtp

The mod is a very solid package and drives sensibly. You don’t need other people to tell you what you already know if you’ve played it, or how to think ;).

      • HammerX

Of course not gtp that’s a no brainer but thanks for letting me know. None the less I like their reviews, very informative especially for the people new to sim racing. I also find them both entertaining to watch. As for the mod by Team Enduracers, I always liked the mods they have put out.

  • Depco

This mod is amazing. Our League will be using the P2 content for our pre-holiday mini-series.

  • http://www.aus-simracers.com/ George ASR

WOW!!!! That’s great, can’t wait to test the RF2 version.
    Thank you.

  • Rantam

What can I say.. despite not being perfect (well, what is?) in my opinion this is the best mod for rFactor 2 out there. Already loved Flat6, but this is really a very ambitious and very, very complex project which nothing have to do with creating a one model series mod. But they have done a great job indeed.

You can instantly see/feel how many manhours they have put to create this. Yep, some things could be improved to put this mod on par with professional content created for sims: models and textures look outdated and there’s space for improvement on the sounds either. But the most important thing, physics and FFB, are properly done. And if you have taken a look to how hard is to develop these properly on rF2 then you can’t do anything but praise these guys. This mod is addictive to drive, and that’s why I consider this mod a total success 🙂

So very well done, Enduracers. Thanks for this amazing piece of rF2 modding you have done!

    Regards

    Endurance Series Mod
    BAM!!

    Instant rFactor 2 electroshock.
    It lives again!

  • Patrik Marek

that’s intense amount of work there! thanks for sharing

  • RapidRefund

Thanks Enduracers and Gentleman’s Physics Team rF2 just got massively better

  • zef

nice mod ,I like LMP2 but GT3 is all physics clone?

    • Roger Ramjet

I dont believe so (stand to be corrected) BMW and AM feel different and the RSR is a different car to the Flat6

    • http://www.gentlemen-racers.org MaD_King

There is no GT3 in the mod. GTC (Cup), GTE & LMP2.
And it’s impossible to clone the physics between cars, because the engine are different and mainly the wheelbase are different too …
