Patrik Marek has released new previews of his 1998 Nissan Primera BTCC for Assetto Corsa.

Patrik Marek has released new previews of his 1998 Nissan Primera BTCC for Assetto Corsa.

A new render & wireframe shot show the latest progress Patrik has made on the iconic touring car model.

The Primera is one of the most iconic cars in British Touring Car Championship history, clinching the title in the hands of Laurent Aiello after the 1999 season.

I have to say, while it’s nice you are working on this, it still needs a lot of fine tuning. But nice progress so far.

    • Ales Ogrinc

edit: just seen it on AC forum that the model will be smoothed out…

  • MFORTYTURBO .

Hope they bring a wide range of cars from BTCC and WTCC and DTM from 80-90’s. So we could have some old classic racing series.

Looks great, Patrik ๐Ÿ˜‰ Laurent Aiello was my favourite driver back then, and although it is the 1998 spec, I love to give this touring car a try on track. All the better to have it in AC^^

why every modder show only renders? where are sound samples (Niels do that), where are details about source of car technical data which will be base for mod and proper physics? Is it going to be with ac like rf1 mods? loads of crappy and worthless mods and only few, well made?

im not talking only about this specific mod (just to be clear), these are just my thoughts cos ive seen lately a lot of ac mods announcements

    • sbbr87

Well, modding a car is a process, and as you can see, at the moment there is nothing more than a quiet unfinished model. the time for sound and physics will come

      • carson

Yes, know that. Easiest parts comes first ๐Ÿ˜‰

Bet a 3d Box with proper sounds and physics is sim enough for you ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • carson

so dont bet, its not your strong point

    • Gonzalo Rodriguez Sastre

Why dont you do a good mod by yourself?

    • Anonymous

Patrik goes back a ways with his efforts in the industry and involvement with previous AAA titles. Plus while I may not like all mods that have been released the word you include that stands out is worthless which is far from the truth. The time these individuals put into these works is never worthless and it would be nice if you showed them a little more respect in general.

The scary thing is that you seem serious.

    • Patrik Marek

simply bacause it’s being developed, it’s far from being finished, once it will be close to finished/released, we will release short video showing it in action, at this point there is not reasonable exporting in ( and for AC you can’t even do that at this point) because with mesh updates, you have to redo lot of work on physics

Hello everyone. Virtualr, this car belongs to 1999 and not 1998 as the title says, if you look at the front fender, the difference between the two is a lot. see photos below
