Yako has released a new version of XD, a tool that adds lots of useful information to the HUD of racing simulations like GTR2 & GTR Evolution.
The following data can be displayed:
MoTeC Data
- Tyretemperatures (In/Mid/Out)
- Tyrewear
- Tyrepressure
- Enginetemperatures (Water/Oil)
- Braketemperatures
- Engine Health
Session Info
- Track- and ambienttemperature
- Session length (remaining time in a practice session or laps in race)
- Fuelconsumption (for last lap / average)
Advanced Timingstable
- Driverslist and their postion
- During practice the fastest laps are displayed
The displayed data can be customized as you wish as the tool includes a well documented .ini file with plenty of variables.
XD can be used in GTR2, GT Legends as well as RACE07 & GTR Evolution, only the latest Steam version is supported though. Below are some screenshots, showing it at work in various sims.

XD Rocks. I wouldn’t mind some TV overlays like rF has too.

Hi, I updated DirectX and it still didn’t work.
1 question, in the readme file it says it works for the ’stream’ version only……… what is the stream version?
Thanks again

You need to have installed Steam! Goggle Steam online Gaming!
FANTASTIC addition, hope we get offline support one day! But this version is so much better than the previous version, thanks for all the hard work!

All these handy DX overlay huds come out for SimBin only even though it would be much easier to write these sort of tools for rFactor due to it’s plugin system. Maybe one day these guys will share the love with rFactor. :)
