Looks very grippy and probably incredibly bland for people that are good with RBR , I think it might be a good rally game for new drivers though.

Not very impressive. Huge FPS problems and really ugly water. Hopefully it got some better physics then.

Thought the same. Might be that they use aids in the video. But can´t say it really. Hopefully in sim mode there is less grip and more drifty behaviour.

well, in top left corner it says: “Graphical improvements still be added”

I’m afraid it can’t be because of aids because aids don’t make the car *faster*, they just make it *easier* to drive at the limit by taking care of your need to play with throttle/brake/steering, but they shouldn’t increase actual grip/handling.

Some kind of aids make the car very stable and just simplify the physics. It´s just about what you implement and how you implement it. So might be possible that the behaviour in sim mode is different.

Pretty good job with the voice for the stage notes. With a few exceptions, it flows pretty naturally. Come to think of it though, these days there isn’t really a good reason why it wouldn’t just be one long recording with variable pauses added in to account for the car’s location. On the other hand, memory restrictions are (relatively) pretty severe on the consoles. So, uh, anyways, it’s got that going for it.

Recently someone clarified that finally the game will support multiple controllers. Having wasted money on the Dirt series with very little actual gameplay for me, I see no reason why I shouldn’t give this a try when it comes out. I may be pleasantly surprised, but if not, no big loss. At the very least it will be a nice diversions.

You know, I don’t mind if this ends up more arcade than sim, as long as it is an entertaining game. I enjoyed the last one, although after a while the gameplay failed to produce that lasting quality that something like a rally career would require. I am looking forward to this one though, I do hope they make the cars harder to handle though. They are tough to really slide around sometimes, and it looks like that hasn’t really changed in this iteration. I’m still hopeful!
