After yesterday’s impressive first render of the Mercedes CLK GTR, the Racers Modding Team has released two new renders of the car along with some very interesting facts on their new mod project.
World Super GT 2 will include some of the most famous GT race cars the last century had to offer, including legendary GT1 cars such as the Mercedes or the Porsche 911 GT1. The team has released an impressive list of planned models which you can find below. They start this tremendous challenge by adding some fresh blood to the team, including community notables like SCCA1981 and Manuel Staggl.
Even though this news item is listed under GTR2, the team has not yet confirmed which platform their new mod will be using. Just because extensive plans for the future have been made, the World Super GT 1 story is not over yet.
The rFactor version of their mod is still in progress, RMT is also planning to release an addon-pack around Christmas time, bringing us the Stealth B6 and the highly anticipated Ferrari F40.

Well , for now we did not decide on what platform we will release it. I dont think we will use GTR2 , because by the time of release it will hardly be used. eben now GTR2 seems to die out. a shame though, because we still feel its better then EVO. Furthermore it seems that rFactor 2 is not arround the corner yet.so in the end , we might have to go Evo after all. in that case it will be released for rFactor too.

great news and the new mod guy’s shame it may not be released for gtr2 imo its still the best sim and platform for ur mods but i’m not tyo fussed tho as i have evo and rFactor. Wot a game u choose to realse it on it will be a awsome piece of work im sure :smile:
