funny remarks actualy. i purchased every Simbin tittle out there. same goes for the rest of the RMT team. we all probably will own a legit GTR Evolution before the end of the week. We are in fact Simbin fans. why do you think we mod it in the first place. We hope Simbin will continue there work , and pray for a GTR3 someday. GTR Evo looks heaps of fun , but for most GTR fans it is not GTR3. so we keep on modding GTR2.

This is a huge reason why I won’t be able to stop playing GTR2 though I want to make the switch to GTR Evo completely.

I must say that from GT Legends is on the one hand still the same. Only what changes are cars and some ini setting. But it is still the same game engine.

Yes, after seeing some pics from GT Evo in details, there are some texture and lightning improvements, but as Simbin says, it is a DATADISC to Race 07 or standalone title.

Iam really looking forward to really new “GTR3″ and hope that Simbin will make new step, make their best responsibly and bring us their another great title. Of course with great modding support as GTR2 has.

I guess this is the same Anonymous as the one writing the first comment… You’re forgetting one thing: Both GTR2 and GTR Evo is infact basically rFactor, just a bit modified. So you’re shooting yourself in the foot with that “fucked up aldready” remark. Way to go ;)

rFactor is made for mods, GTR2 isnt.

Bullcrap! If rF is made for mods, then GTR2 must be too, because it’s the same damn structure! Just that GTR2 has some official cars allready, so what?

You’ll end up with incompatible versions just like in rfactor now. I want to drive online without google-ing for some mod first. GTR2 is a FIA GT simulation not WSGT crap

Anonymous, the mod is envisaged for GTR2 AND rFactor. Do not come to criticize GTR2. It have there no that your opinion which counts… If you am not happy, cross your way!

If you have to google for some mod to play online I guess people must like that particular mod. What a way to ruin a game! :)

If you don’t want to search the mod for online racing, just go to the servers with original cars, and it won’t have MISMATCHES.

Also, if you hate the “crap”, why don’t leave it rather than watching it and waste your time to type some “comments” :?:

No one is stopping you from playing GTR2 as it is. In fact I do it all the time without any problems! I also race on addon tracks and sometimes with addon cars whenever I feel like it. Isn’t life wonderful when you have so many choices?

for those who do not own GTR2, these days you can order your copy only for as little as 14 euro . americans can even find it cheaper. its worth the go for people who have never try´d it. I am an alltime rFactor fan , but i have to say the GTR2 version of the ISI2 engine is better in some parts. (now lets not start a ” whats best ” discussion!) i just want to point out that GTR2 is cheap at this time and might be worth every cent for allot of people.
