World Super GT 2 – Toyota GT-One In Game

RMT’s Arnold Wong has released a new batch of previews, showing his recently finished Toyota TS020 GT-One model in-game for the very first time.

The bi-turbo powered Toyota joins the other WSGT 2 cars such as the McLaren F1 GTR and the Mercedes CLK GTR on track for a few shakedown laps. Also included are two brand-new renders of the Toyota in the Monza pitlane.

    Wahaha nice…

  • Mad Man

    WHAT!!!!
you seam to be able to work at the speed of light and make 1000 times better models than those on say GT5. if someone makes an HD pc in the next year that will be the only thing that will give your talent the chance to show

  • Mitos

Toyota is number one at The Most Loosers in automotorsport list!

  • Bjorn

You, Mitos is just the biggest imbacile present here at VirtualR… Toyota are no losers, not at all. It’s the biggest car-maker in the world and in motorsports they’ve had a lot success as well.

  • Mitos

U, Bjorn is number one at “The Most Imbeciles(not imbacile) Ever” list. I`m only second, because I answer to U.”It’s the biggest car-maker in the world…”, so what? What success? Celica and aaa….Thats all, I can to remember. 500 billions euro every year on F1 program and what? Nothing. And Toyota GT-One was nothing=2ndLM`99.

  • http://www.virtualr.net Montoya

Please bear in mind that 1999 was probably the toughest edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours ever. BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Nissan, Toyota all going at it – I don’t see how finishing second only due to a puncture is something to be ashamed about.

And, Toyota has made it into NASCAR’s top division, winning races after just one year. That’s something no non-American manufacturer has ever done.

  • Mitos

Ok. U remember CLR had aerodynamic problem. R391 wasnt at all. BMW wined on their V12LMR(LMP2). Toyota with their GT-One(LMP1, not GT1 hahaha) was only second.
Sorry, NASCAR is garbage of motorsport. And there isnt any japanese or european companies in NASCAR.

  • http://www.bsimracing.com Arnold Carter Wong

The V12 LMR is a car similar to nowadays slower LMP1s(it has the same engine as the McLaren F1 GTR Longtail)

The GT-One was a GT1(Yes, it was a GT1 car, same as the CLK LM and the 911 GT1 Evo-98 etc, a road version was built too, only 1 road car exists in the world though) in 1998 Le Mans, that’s what I have built. The 1999 LMGTP car(partly due to group GT1 was cancelled in 1999) is a revised version which has tons of changes around the body(mainly on the front).

  • Bjorn

Exactly, Wong. LMP1/LMP2 came much later. In 2000 the to classes of protos was called LMP675 and LMP900.

Mitos… You’re a fool of huge dimensions..! Toyota IS competing in NASCAR together with Dodge, Ford and Chevrolet. Get it?!
And you all (including you Mitos) seem to forget Toyotas succes in rallying, The Celica won the WRC four times with a driver like Carlos Sainz taking two of these WRC wins.

  • Vkt

ok but NASCAR still being bullshit only for rednecks hamburger-eaters :sd:

  • klaasvh

Besides their race wins in NASCAR, Toyota was very succesful in WRC and CART/IRL as well, winning many championships.

  • Mitos

LMP1/LMP2 came much later… I know that, fool. About Celica…see my second comment.

  • Mitos

By the way, I said there isnt any japanese or european companies in NASCAR, except Toyota.

  • Bjorn

You said “And there isnt any japanese or european companies in NASCAR.” I guess you mean CAR-companies here. And there is: Toyota ;)
And if I should pull your sentence totally from each other… There is several japanese and european companies in NASCAR. Wii, Red Bull, so on.

LMP1/LMP2 came much later… I know that, fool. About Celica…see my second comment.

For classes. If you knew LMP1/LMP2 came much later then why did you post this rubbish: “BMW wined on their V12LMR(LMP2). Toyota with their GT-One(LMP1, not GT1 hahaha) (..)”?

For the Celica. What has your 2nd comment to do with the fact that Celica was a very success-full rally car? Nothing! Toyota is not doing very good in F1 no, but what the hell has that to do with their success-full rally program?

Come on… Tighten up your arguments!
