For the past months, Team RMT has been very busy working on their World Super GT 2 mod for rFactor 2 and the Circuit Zolder. But even with that much on the table, the team’s Arnold Wong finds some time for impressive side-work as the team has released first renders of a very detailed showroom model that will be used to show off the mod’s cars.
Successor to World Super GT for GTR 2, World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rFactor 2.

Are they just dreaming about what rF2 is going to be capable of? Who really knows if rF2 is going to allow for this sort of flexibility.

rF supports showroom models, so in theory, rF2 would also supports that. A 200k tris full size showroom would just be nothing kill the FPS in the game, as what you can see with our cockpits. And actually it’s a part of my school project
As I hate to waste my time on the school projects, I would just build something that I can also put in the mod.

Nice…
News/shots/renders about this mod for rFactor 2 more than news about rFactor 2

I thought rF1 had simple static backdrops with rotating cars on a simple 3D platform. I guess that simple platform is being used as the whole showroom? I am surprised this hasn’t been tried before. I thought maybe you guys had some inside info. :)
