RMT has released new previews of their World Super GT 2 mod for rFactor, showing the Porsche 911 GT1 fully dressed up in the 1996 Le Mans 24 Hours livery where the car managed to win its class, finishing 2nd overall.
Based on the Porsche 993 and powered by a 600hp flat-6 engine, the 911 GT1 was Porsche’s weapon of choice for the 1997 FIA GT season. The car competed against notable race cars like the Mercedes CLK-GTR and the McLaren F1 GTR, enjoying limited success.
Successor to World Super GT for GTR 2, World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rFactor 2.

I know I’m not supposed to say this, but… it REALLY looks like someone took a shit on the roof of it while it was driving.
I mean, look at the first screenshot. That looks disgusting.
As far as the mod goes – brilliant job!! I love all these screenshots, and it looks so promising. Can’t wait to race the CLK-GTR. Keep it up, guys.
