World Super GT 2 – New CLK-GTR Previews

RMT’s Wix has made some stunning progress with the textures for the Mercedes CLK-GTR model, part of World Super GT 2 for rFactor 2. The car now sports its first proper livery, showing off the CLK Sportswear colors.

Powered by a six-liter V12 engine, the CLK-GTR was Mercedes’ weapon of choice during the 1997 FIA GT championship, the German manufacturer managed to clinch both the drivers and manufacturers title.

Successor to World Super GT for GTR 2, World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rFactor 2.

rFactor 2 – Six User Interface Screenshots

Jessica, Darin & Shaun of InsideSimRacing.tv were recently joined by Image Space Incorporated's Gjon Camaj who visited the guys for an interview in an upcoming SRT episode. VLN 2009 by Team NLC – Massive Batch of Renders

Fuji Speedway by Virtua_LM – New Previews

Virtua_LM has released new previews of another stunning track creation for rFactor, showing us new shots of the Japanese Fuji Speedway in late 80s specification. Located near the famous Mount Fuji in Oyama, Japan, Fuji Speedway was opened in 1963. The track was a popular venue for sports car races as the track was part of the FIA World Sports Car Championship for Group C prototypes from 1982 to 1988. Even though the track was slowed down with two chicanes during the 80s, speeds on the track remained very high thanks to the 1.5 kilometer main straght - The longest in motorsports. [nggallery ...
