RMT’s Wix has started working on the template for Arnold Wong’s excellent Mclaren F1 GTR Longtail model. While at it, he’s also painted a good looking first livery for the BMW-powered race car.
Successor to World Super GT for GTR 2 (and soon rFactor), World Super GT 2 will feature legendary GT cars from the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery, the mod will be released for an upcoming next-gen simulation.

They will not tell, but they do certainly wear us out with redundent images over and over and over again and again and again

Wow RKipker, way to go. Thats the way to appreciate them spending a lot of free time and even sharing the result with others!
RMI, please ignore idiots like RKipker. WSGT1 was awesome and I have no doubt you’ll rock it with WSGT2 as well :)

If you don’t want to see the amazing images, then don’t look at them…simple as that.
Stunning as usual!

We are RMT, not RMI, RMT and RMI are totally 2 very different things.

Do we still have a chance to see the rFactor-1 version of WSGT?
The GTR2 one was released many months ago…

Are you kidding me, you mean I can not post what I thin or feel. All I’m saying is if you’re going to tease us with images on a daily, and I mean daily bases, why not tell us what game or platform they are targeted towards.
Mr Bram. I wish you were in front of me when you called me an idiot, as I would teach you what it was like to be so disrespectful…. you little TWIT.
WSGT1 was good, but all I’m stating here is for many weeks we keep seeing these images and yet we can not know what game platform it is for? Yes, they are redundant I stand by that comment.
I learned never to give false praise…. I appreciate anyones hard work, but stop beating the freaking drum already!

I think the next-gen simulation thing taken way too serious here. True, we said this will be for a next-gen sim but the only reason is because we don’t know for what sim we’ll release it.
This mod will take more than a year before it’s completed. GTR2 and rFactor are getting outdated. Who knows what the best moddable sim will be 2010? Whatever it will be, we’ll release the mod for that sim. Simple as that.
As far as calling these screenshots and development updates redundant, we just like to show people what we’re working on. And in this case, with the McLaren screenshots, they’re just cool artwork and sitting on my desktop now.

This skin (and model of course) looks nothing less than spectacular! I know how much pain it is to make skins with curves that go across body parts, to get them perfectly aligned… argh! But looks like you worked it out. Much respect!
RKipker, I was going to just ignore you, but there are so many things wrong with your attitude that I have to get this out, heh.
1. As has been stated countless times before, RMT simply don’t know yet which platform the mod will be made for, as the next-gen games have yet to come out! Simple as that.
2. Maybe Bram called you an idiot, but it certainly doesn’t help respond with “little TWIT”. Not very grown up. How old are you???
3. Can’t you just appreciate that they are sharing these amazing screenshots and renders with us instead of showing us nothing? You’re getting all of this for free, and I know that it is exactly this kind of attitude that can make modders not want to release mods or previews to the public.
4. “False praise”, you say? Did the WSGT1 disappoint you in any way? IMO, RMT is one of the top 5 modding teams out there. I’m sure WSGT2 will be just as stunning to play as the screenshots depict.

then you won’t get annoyed by all these previews any more, and we won’t get annoyed by your comments. Problem solved.

All I was doing was stating my opinion about seeing the images every day… OK!
As far as the rest , I’ll build a

That 3D model is… WOW.
How many polygons on this one?
