World Super GT 2 – Lexus SC430 Template Previews

RMT’s Wix has finished the template for the Lexus SC430 model, part of the team’s World Super GT 2 mod for rFactor 2.

The SC430 is Toyota’s weapon of choice in the Japanese Super GT series, replacing the Toyota Supra model. World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rfactor 2.

Furthermore, the team has announced that there will be additions to the initial car list as work on some new models has already started.

Yep, looks like rFactor 2 will be all alone, considering Simbin seems more interested in new cars for Race 07.

What I don’t understand, is how these mod teams can develop for rFactor 2 when the engine hasn’t been released, and there is no dev kit available?

We just cannot fully develop the physics at the moment, all the other stuffs can be done.

rFactor 2 – Six User Interface Screenshots

Jessica, Darin & Shaun of InsideSimRacing.tv were recently joined by Image Space Incorporated's Gjon Camaj who visited the guys for an interview in an upcoming SRT episode. VLN 2009 by Team NLC – Massive Batch of Renders

Fuji Speedway by Virtua_LM – New Previews

Virtua_LM has released new previews of another stunning track creation for rFactor, showing us new shots of the Japanese Fuji Speedway in late 80s specification. Located near the famous Mount Fuji in Oyama, Japan, Fuji Speedway was opened in 1963. The track was a popular venue for sports car races as the track was part of the FIA World Sports Car Championship for Group C prototypes from 1982 to 1988.
