Arnold Wong has produced another stunning model for the upcoming World Super GT2 mod by RMT, showing us first shots of the Porsche 911 GT1 race car on track.
Based on the Porsche 993, the GT1 was Porsche’s weapon of choice for the 1997 FIA GT season. The car competed against notable race cars like the Mercedes CLK-GTR and the McLaren F1 GTR, enjoying limited success. Right now, the car sports no template and basic textures, still looking quite fabulous already.
Successor to World Super GT for GTR 2, World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rFactor 2.

Wow! I cant believe a car that badass looking didnt win all races it entered.

There is no Zonda planned in the WSGT2 . But don’t worry , we did not yet get through the entire car list. Some nice surprises coming up.

I’m probably daft for asking. Does this mean rFactor2 is being released very soon? Let’s see. If it comes out this fall. I’ll have to choose between, Dirt2, Shift, GTEvolution addon,
or rFactor2. It’s a good year for Sims.

I’ll be picking up the GTR-Evo addon, but I think that’ll be out in a couple of months or so. RF2 I don’t think we’ll see before the end of the year. Certainly not before Q4 I’d say.

Not the only one! Probably the best console racer of all time. Struck the balance between realism and arcade perfectly. Far better than 3 or 4.
