Team RMT 2 has released a new preview video of their World Super GT 2 project for rFactor 2, showing us a full field of Megane Trophy cars running at Zolder.
As usual with these early preview videos of WSGT 2, the video has been made in rFactor for testing purposes – Not rFactor 2.
Successor to World Super GT for GTR 2, World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rFactor 2.

Virtua_LM has released new previews of another stunning track creation for rFactor, showing us new shots of the Japanese Fuji Speedway in late 80s specification. Located near the famous Mount Fuji in Oyama, Japan, Fuji Speedway was opened in 1963. The track was a popular venue for sports car races as the track was part of the FIA World Sports Car Championship for Group C prototypes from 1982 to 1988. That is a damn fine model! Personally I think the new (and old) Megane is horrible, but I am imagining how the truly beautiful cars in this mod will look ingame.

thanks for the nice comments. The zolder track used is idd the GTL version. Our own HQ Zolder track project is put on pause now , until we finish all cars. then we will continue the track work. It seems a little audio bug has creeped in while uploading the video. i will try to up a new one this evening.

With all due respect this is PATHETIC! Why not release this for rFactor and god knows when rFactor 2 is released convert it to the damn thing! Unless ISI is paying those guys I see no advantage of releasing it just for rFactor 2 but this is copyrighted material so I don’t believe ISI has anything to do with it!

A number of reasons felipe.
1) Team RMT can produce two separate high quality mods from the start, giving rF2 the best possible launch, or post-launch.
2) Exclusive rF2 content will help shift the community to the new platform plus it will set the standard for future rF2 mods.
3) If we can expect a repeat of the Megane trophy situation that currently dominates the public servers anyway, at least they will be driving the greatest looking Megane to date and physics/sounds to match.
4) I don’t think rF1 can unleash the full potential of these next-gen vehicles.
5) Team RMT have a lot of work to do completing the mod as it is. Whose knows what the rF2 release date is? By the time they get the vehicles in rF1, rF2 could only be a month away, that’s wasted effort to me.
6) A personal reason; I can wait for this, can’t you?

cant wait. looks very good.
maybe felipe RMT is waiting to be the first ones to release high quality mod for rf2. the same thing that CTDP did with 2005 mod.
or they decided to wait for rf2 so they can take advantage of hopefully the new graphics engine.

If rF2 is still a long way from being released when the Megane is 100% finished we might just release it for rF1. Nothing is certain right now and plans can change.
