Team RMT has released a new batch of renders, showing off Arnold Wong’s latest creation: The brand new 2010 Honda HSV 010 Super GT car.
The HSV 010 will make it’s Super GT debut in 2010, replacing Honda’s aging NSX model in their fight against Nissan and Lexus for the series title. The car is powered by a 3.4 liter V8 engine, putting out about 500hp and 400nm of torque. Unlike other Super GT cars, the HSV 010 is not based on a road-going model but a pure purpose-built prototype race car.
Successor to World Super GT for GTR 2, World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rFactor 2.

Check out some videos of this on Youtube. It looks and sounds insane on the track. Sounds like an F1 car, goes like a GT car on steroids. Hopefully the clock likes it as well!
Excellent work on the mod. I really can’t wait to try this out in a year or two!

Hey Arnold, have you guys ever been approuched by studios like PD and T10 to do outsourcing work? Maybe you guys could help PD out so GT5 can come out sooner. The quality of those renders (which are not even final) are absolutely amazing and definetly up to there OCD standards. I would love to see the WSGT2 cars in GT5. You can be sure I will be getting rFactor 2 as well but it would be really cool to see your work on the consoles.

totally agree we all know how big the GT franchise is and it would be great to see guys like you making to the big scene! and when I see big scene it means a franchise it over 40 million copies sold and GT5 will add at least 6 million more to that!

I’ve got sympathy for the guy who will have to do physics and the sounds of all these cars.
You should work it out with Enduracers people.
PS : I hope we will see a video when rF2 will be available showing the same model evolving in rF 1 & rF 2 on youtube.

I think this console kid must be banned from virtualr, as such kid is just wasting the web space. It’s not the first time he spreads his 3-year old talks.

It surely isn’t, you should consider working on your angle though.
Personally, I don’t understand why someone would take time to write comments if you have nothing positive or constructive to add… something you do very rarely.

Gulyo: still funny you can call a whole mod project, a waste of time, while you waste your time putting up a useless post. We sure like positive feedback, but we can also apreciate the constructive negative ones. But ” Waste of time … rF2 release in 2065…” is hardly constructive. still , there is hope. in 2065 you will be 45 years old i guess …so you can still race it.

Congratulations to Arnold and all those working on this project at Team RMT – it’s amazing to think that this car was only unveiled a few weeks ago and now here it is in all of it’s virtual glory. Great job guys!
I’m someone who is following this project with a great deal of interest and I want to thank Team RMT for keeping us informed with pictures, videos and commentary. Like the CTDP blog, it gives great insight into how a mod is conceived and the development it takes to become a stable release – it’s greatly appreciated and certainly helps to whet the appetite!
Take it easy guys and good luck with project WSGT2!

Are we 100% sure there’s really going to be a rFactor2? Does anyone know when
There’s been alot of talk for several years now, but still haven’t heard any offical announcement. So maybe 2065 is a little ridicules but then again, maybe not.
