World Super GT 2 – Ferrari F40 GTE Template Previews

RMT’s Wix has made lots of progress on the template of the Ferrari F40 GTE, part of World Super GT 2 for rFactor 2. Arnold Wong will now model the car’s engine next so expect preview shots of the engine compartment rather soon.

Even though never intended to be a race car by the Ferrari factory, the F40 GTE was a rather successful in motorsports, competing in the IMSA & JGTC series as well as in the BPR series where it clinched several wins, racing notable cars like the Mclaren F1 GTR.

Successor to World Super GT for GTR 2, World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rFactor 2.

    BTW, this particular model (F40 GTE) won just once on the BPR Series, at Anderstorp 1996 (in those days there was no BS ballast handicaps as today, so the McLaren won almost all races :lol: :lol: :lol: )
    Its predecessor (the F40 LM) won a race as well in the BPR Series, this time in 1995 (again, at Anderstorp, which suited the F40 it seems) :cool: :cool: :cool:
