World Super GT 2 – Corvette Cockpit In-Game Previews

Following the first set of Corvette C6.R cockpit previews yesterday, Team RMT has now released a big bunch of preview shots and a video of the GT1′ cars interior.

The C6.R made it’s competition debut in 2005, fighting countless battles against the Aston Martin DBR9, the Saleen S7R and other GT1 class machinery ever since.

Successor to World Super GT for GTR 2, World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rFactor 2.

    I know you guys are saying rF2 as a timeframe, but you guys should honestly consider keeping that car in rF1 for one last hurrah!

    omg that cockpit looks awesome and the sound of the C6R is like spot on from what i’ve heard irl.

    I hope the lighting in rF2 is much warmer. I just love the soft shadows in the cockpit rendering on the dashboard. :wink:

    rFactor is good at keeping the details and textures but the in-game shading really does kill the atmosphere.

    The only little crytic i can do is about interior sounds (i ear something strange on IN_high samples, but probably is something about mixing), but i know is only a WIP, so..great work. Exterior sounds are stunning! :eek:
    Was nice to do a video with Bernoldi Skin at Paul Ricard instead Mid Ohio :sd:

    Ingame sounds are in the Alpha Stage , external ones are Beta. ( ThinlaneT is working hard ) ;-)

    Absolutely stunning. If the rest of the cars sound this good, I don’t think I’ll ever need another sim again after rFactor 2.

    Big fan of the previews since the beginning i’m not thrilled by this preview.

    Quality of the video is quiet poor, the seat is set very down in the car.

    Anyway i’m hope the cockpits and the physics will match the quality of the modeling.

    I guess all feedback is welcome, but this is a bit of a weird comment.

    - Actualy… there is no seat in the video. I do understand that youtube video´s are no Blu-ray movies, but if you watched the video for real , you would have noticed that the seat is not in the preview. :-)
    The seats will be implemented in the last stage. The vette has as seat you wont be able to miss, because it runs straight up to the pedals on a Corvette Motorsport C6R.
    - Also , last time i looked , the cockpit was part of the moddeling.
