A while ago, Team RMT announced that they´re making some last minute addition to the carlist of their World Super GT 2 mod for rFactor 2.
Below is a first sneak preview of one of the new cars, showing the shape of a very well-known GT1 car. More to come soon…
World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rfactor 2.

Ugh, I loath that car with a passion. Thanks iRacing!
Im just curious about this whole releasing for rfactor 2 deal given how little everyone seems to know about it, are you guys already working with ISI or is it not an issue?

A car model is still a car model and textures are still textures, it doesn’t matter if it’s for rFactor 1 or rFactor 2. Most of the preview shots are from rF1, we do that because getting the models in game only takes a few minutes because everything is standardized. Gjon Camaj has mentioned on the rF2 twitter that rF1 mod will be compatible with rFactor 2 with some work so that’s why we’re working on rFactor 1 now.
As for the Corvette, it’s not the only addiation to our car list. There are some more cars we’re working on but you’ll find that out soon enough. I doubt we’ll release all the cars together, most likely they will come in packs. So first the Meganes, then the GT500s, GT1 90’s etc.

Klaas is having some communication going with ISI. However, we dont know much more then others. In general all basic work for any sim is the same. Modelling and texturing, Templating and gathering raw material for physics, visuals and sounds. it does not matter what we are going to release it for. The rFactor 1 versions we do are just for inhouse testing and experimenting. ( and our own fun ;) ) .
You will get to see the first previews of the new car tonight. i have a destinct feeling allot of you will like it.
We might also show the first basic preview of the work on the Zolder track.
Appart from the last car , you can at least expect 3 more.

Any chance of a GT2 spec version as well? Just wondering.
The GT1 is nice enough as is.
