I guess you forgot that the ai was driving the car in the video, the physics are still a long way from being finished and that the mod is destined for another game. Perhaps you’re too early with your judgement.

I really have to say this: I was really happy when I was checking the graphics contents from the other sims, especially the cockpits. I have got iRacing’s C6 immediately when it was released, and it looks even worse than a model from RACE, which was done in 2006. The shape is accurate because it is laser-scanned, but the rest are just simply horrible, and have found few holes to see the road in the cockpit. At some points, the graphics we did this time are way more serious than most of the commercial racing games. And remember we are just doing them as a hobby and I have to work on infinite school projects everyday. I really have to say that as it is the fact, at least from what I can see at the moment.Sorry for the harsh words, but it really pissed me off when I saw loads of destructive comments after a day of programming. Do it better before saying anything is crap or something.

jdb: You should try the corvette c6r in iracing . This mod is not looking so good in my opinion. In iracing the vette is so alive and fun to drive.

Seriously, we’re still only in the modelling and texturing stages. Physics and most sounds are still a long way from being completd. We have enough work to do for a full year I think. If rF2 gets cancelled, we’ll choose an other sim to put the cars in.

Well Then I hope my fears don’t come true and your mod will be ok for rF2. The ZZ2 looks so yummy Makes me wish there was one out for any ISI sim now. With the Sintura coming this mod may make me cry.

Kobashi: Very very pretty cars. But something puzzles me: as far as rFactor2 is concerned; why that game for this mod? It sounds pessimistic but what if the rF2 developers decide to cancel the release? Wouldn’t be the 1st game to get canceled so I’m just thinking maybe the WSGT group is jumping on something that isn’t solid yet. Besides the cars do seem to look fine in that regular rFactor.

Rasmus: Depending on the graphics of rF 2, this could be better looking than Forza 3, GT5 and SHIFT. Stunning job. Keep it up, guys.

rFactor looks really old, making this cars looking “ugly”. Bit harsh words but read on … I know it’s for rFactor 2 but I don’t think the whole mod will looking better than Shift or GT5.

I’m referings to all shown rFactor 2 Screens. Better than rFactor. What I’m really missing is proper Light/Shadows because it looks so boring without it. Then Real Time Reflektions (= great Shader), Driver in Cars…

But I’m looking really forward to rFactor 2 with WSGT 2!
