Team RMT has successfully tested a first alpha version of their World Super GT 2 mod in rFactor, performing basic model testing with the upcoming rFactor 2 mod.
Even though the models are very detailed, the team was happy with the fps performance. Using a Athlon X4 and a nVidia G285GTX graphics card, 16 cars on track produced between 140 and 260fps at 1920*1200 resolution.
Once again, the team is stressing that, despite showing lots of previews, the workload on the mod is only completed by around 10% as lots of task are yet to be done.
Successor to World Super GT for GTR 2, World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rFactor 2.

graphically, rFactor is pretty old :( It’ll be interesting to see how these cars look in rFactor 2. Hopefully the lighting/mapping is lightyears ahead of rFactor.

And considering that these screen already look amazing on the first rFactor, I really wonder how it will be to see these cars with real time reflections on them in rF2! Can’t wait!
