World Sportscar 1970 – New Previews + Carlist

CSGT has released a first list of car models that will make up their World Sportscar 1970 mod for rFactor. The mod will include cars from the 1970 edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours and other endurance events during what’s arguably one of the best years in sports car racing history.

The mod already consists of 118 cars spread out into five classes, including endurance racing legends such as the Porsche 917, the Ferrari 512S and the Ford GT40. Below are the newest previews of the mod, including the brand new Ferrari 312. Click “Read More” to get to the full car list.

Sports 5000 – 49 total including all 19 Le Mans starters; 4 Makes; 7 Models.
Ferrari 512S Coda Corta Targa – 4 including 1 Le Mans entry
Ferrari 512S Coda Corta Coupe – 7 including 2 Le Mans entries
Ferrari 512S Coda Lunga – 8 all Le Mans entries
Ford GT40 MkI – 4
Lola T70 Mk3B – 6 including 1 Le Mans entry and 1 Le Mans DNQ
Porsche 917K – 18 including 5 Le Mans entries (3 physics packages)
Porsche 917L – 2 all Le Mans entries (2 physics packages)

    I really hate to say this as I was excited when I read about the mod, but those look… Kinda ugly. Not the cars, but the models. And there’s no reflections or anything.

    Agree. Primitive models, but that might be the price of poker for a mod that is offering so many cars. So, it better drive well and be 100 percent RealFeel compatible!

    Well I drove CSGT’s work on F1C and it was truely amazing stuff. I agree the models arent great by today’s mod standards and the lighting and reflections are currently…..non existent, but you can be sure the physics will be top notch. Bring on the 917s! :happy:
