World Sportscar 1970 – Le Mans Previews

CSGT has released some new previews of their World Sportscar 1970 mod for rFactor, showing a full pack of legendary prototypes like the Porsche 917 and the Ferrari 512S at Le Mans.

The World Sportscar 1970 mod will contain over 110 cars from what was one of the greatest years of sports car racing, including powerful prototypes and smaller GTs.

Can’t wait for this one. The CSGT Holiday Preview ranks right up there with Historic GT & Touring as the best rFactor mod ever made, so this should be KILLER!

^ i agree , this mod has one of the best physics and FFB that i have ever tried on rfactor , alot of modding groups have to learn about this , in a sim is not all based on a eye candy ”factor”

    keep it up CSGT

Very well said, Vkt. Agree with you 100 percent.

CSGT and Historix have a better handle on physics and proper RealFeel implementation for rFactor than any other mod team.

Terrible 3d modelling, looks like something from the 1990′s

    The tracks are pathetic.

Do it right, or don’t do it at all.

I´m looking forward to this one. Multi-class racing in a great era of sportscar racing. Keep it up!

delaney1970: Do it right, or don’t do it at all.

Provide them with a working budget of several hunderd thousand dollars then.

Talk about pathetic, crawl back to the hole you came from.

Other mod teams can make good looking cars on a budget of nothing. Why can’t CSGT ?
They don’t even have to go crazy on the eye candy – just accepting the fact that a Porsche 908′s windscreen frame is curved rather than being hexagonal would be a good starting point.
Are they trying to ensure the mod will give good framerates on a 1985 Commodore 64 ?

You’re the exact reason many mod teams have stopped modding. If you don’t like it, don’t download it. .
