World Sportscar 1970 – Extensive Progress

Some weeks ago, CSGT has released their Holiday Preview mod, a small appetizer of what the full World Sportscar Championship 1970 mod for rFactor will bring us. After some silent weeks, the team has now released a big bulk of screenshots and information.

For the first time, the team’s Le Mans 1970 track can be seen. The track is still in beta stage as are plenty of the cars. The team currently has an impressive total of 99 cars in-game, three models are currently still in development. A full list of all car models in the mod can be found by clicking “read more”

    Sweet stuff for sure, it looks awesome. I hope they include a version of LeMans with a starting grid as how the cars are parked in some of the pictures?

    Yes we will have a “Le Mans” start. While we will probably have a flagman who’s flag will change to green we will also have a gunshot noise. No, no lights, nor any lights at pit exit, pit entrance. Nor any in car commentary for that matter.

    It’s all looking really good… I see years of my future spent in this mod/era. Will you do a hirez texture set for the cars as well? (looks like a 1k map at most in the pics) I’d be willing to help with adding the hirez versions to yours… email me.
