World Racing Simulation – Three New Previews

Last November, Mak Corp announced their first ever racing title named World Racing Simulation.

Now, new previews of the simulation have been released, showing off the Formula Racing FR3-208 car that was already visible in the first-ever preview.

Further information on the new title has yet to be announced but the development seems to be making progress.

    Pretty sure that he is showing off the graphical development of his sim, I remember the first preview I played had good physics but the graphics were subpar.

    mmg cant even release mods, how will they release an actual stand alone game? lol. pretty sad to pass off an rfactor mod as a brand new game on a new engine they developed.

    David, if you are one of these people who simply hate on MMG and every post of yours is going to be a flame baiting pot-shot at them, then it’s not going to happen here.
    Others have been down this road and are not here any more so don’t make that same mistake.
    You have a beef with them, take it somewhere else.

    Guys, I want to make something clear just so we all know where things stand.

    MMG (now MAK-Corp) have had, lets say, a controversial past. Because of that a few people still insist on hounding them at every corner.
    While it is completely fine to offer your opinion, positive or negative on any thread including those relating to MMG, it will not be acceptable to write those negative posts in a manner that is flaming or trolling. People who come here just to hate on MMG in their posts, just because they have some bee in their bonnet, will have their posts removed from this point on.
    Repeated efforts will result in a ban from VirtualR.
    It’s that simple. Keep your prejudice’s off this blog, they are not welcome.

    I just won’t have time to play all the upcoming sims, surely not at at least a bit competitive level. So I’ll have to choose only one sim (i hope it’s gonna be Assetto Corsa) to try to master it and I just hate this fact :P

    Does anyone know more about graphics oder physics engine? Self-made? Existing one?
    I really like the fact that more and more (Modding)Groups try to create their own Sims. Its also a good opportunity for a lot of freelancer 3D and 2D artists out there.

    Graphics engine for prototype is Unity3D, we haven’t decided yet if we will continue with Unity for graphics side but v4.x has DX11 support and we’re able to change things as we want so graphics side its excellent and allows us to get our game out on multiple platforms. Physics engine is made from scratch by our long time partner and WRS Investor Chassis Sim and has been integrated into the C# scripting of Unity to make it compatible.

    Our game will include rally. Rally is something we’re very passionate about and it is why we have Hayden Paddon and Jon Armstrong involved. :)

    We haven’t had any problems with it and the new 4.x version they just released makes it even better along with the DX11 support which is now available. FPS we’ve not had any issues which is why we’re highly considering using it for the full project. Of course we’re having to program everything else like integrating Chassis Sim physics engine and programming our own AI from scratch. In any method its not hard for us to take the code and build an engine from scratch using the code as a base, we wouldn’t have to throw anything away coding wise, though the process to develop a new graphics engine would make the process even longer. It will all depend on how everything progresses but we’ll be sure to keep you all informed. :)

    You guys just seem to load onto yourself way more than you can possibly handle, you are working on so many cars for existing sims, and now you say your own game is supposed to support both circuits and rally? That’s something no sim does at the moment (it doesn’t look like rf2 will either), it just doesn’t seem possible unless you are giant company. So that’s why people are so sceptical.. why not include racing boats and aeroplanes and spaceships and battle tanks while you are at it and release 1500 preview screenshots lol..
    sorry for being very obnoxious but why should anyone trust you.

    Looks good – please ensure that high fidelity three screen support is baked into it from the start. If this is a high end sim, you’ll find that high end sim fans use three screens in many cases.

    What material are you talking about? PiBoSo has nothing to do with this title. WRS (World Racing Simulation) was announced on RSC back in 2006 but was then given an official news stating that the project will be taken into a longer and different direction from being a mod to being a game back in 2006.

    The track is made by feels3 who is also the Lead Track Artist for World Racing Simulation’s Circuit tracks.

    You must have some serious programmers working for you, coding new graphics and physics engines. That kind of stuff costs millions and takes many years. Where did mmg get millions in funding?

    The graphics look about 10 years old anyway. This has about as much chance as being created as me walking on mars. Never ceases to amaze me why some people continue to humour this mob. Just a waste of bandwidth.

    Do you EVER get it into your head that it is actually the rules here on VR that I am defending and not MAK specifically.
    That might explain why you see me thread after thread.
    I`ll stop defending when people like you realise the futility of trolling on here. In fact I will be more on my guard in MAK Corp threads because it seems to be a target for people who think the rules don’t count here. Those people will very quickly find out otherwise.
    The only reason I drew attention to it this time is because I am personally sick to the back teeth of seeing this pattern in every MAK related thread where the same people create a new account (such as yourself) just to come here and slag them off.
    When I come onto this thread for the first time, I don’t want to read post after post of trolling. I am not going to put up with it regardless of who the target is.

    I am not being told ANY fairy tales. I didn’t put the thread up. The screenshots certainly show work progress. so it is up to MAK Corp to prove you lot wrong and get something out there. If they don’t, you win, yay!
    But just because nothing has been release since MMG08 F1 mod, doesn’t mean you can come here and slag them off as if they owe you something. You rant on about them not releasing anything, but if they did, would you happily play it despite your hate for them ? Or would you use it to look for faults so you can criticise them further ?
    What is your end-game ? To get others to go against MAK?
    Seems a very negative way to spend your time.

    You gotta admit they look like the same game within reason when at first glance of this I actually thought is was the PiBoSo title even down to the name Series? Simulation? It would be very easy to get fooled. Maybe both entities will suffer the backlash of this. Off hand yours looks more like it had an ISI style in mind where PiBoSo’s seems to have more of a Kunos appeal but as far as title and content it’s hard to tell them apart

    Every game looks the same withing reason. Take every DX9 racing game. Aside from the features and content, do they have anything major in the graphics that sets them apart? pCARS and AC look similar in graphics. I don’t see there being any confusion. The two games have two different names. Unless people do not understand how to differentiate the words Series and Simulation, then I don’t see why there would be confusion. Our title is being build on multiple platforms, PiBoSo’s is strictly PC. We have our target genre’s, he has his. We have our website, he has his and they are plain to see for anyone.

    Having said that I wish PiBoSo all the best with his game and told him that when we spoke about the two games. As we have been developing aspects of this game since 2006 before we could fully pursue it.

    You sound like a fan of his game and just posting to put ours down calling ours an ISI style in mind and his a Kunos appeal. Makes it sound like ISI is a lower category then Kunos. You may not have meant it that way but it came across that way. I think we are blessed to have both ISI and Kunos in the community and I’d be more then happy if our game is judged in any way, shape or form in the style of either of the two companies. They produce great work and we hope to also.

    Not taking a punt at you, its just that’s how your post came across. Its hard to tell how a person means something through text on a screen and not being able to see them in person. A normal comment can be perceived wrongly and if I perceived yours wrong, I apologize, but that’s how it came across. In any case, I think people are smart enough to tell the difference. I have faith that humanity is not riddled with complete idiots who can’t understand different things.

    And just to add. PiBoSo doesn’t work for MAK-Corp, everyone in the sim-racing community knows that. World Racing Simulation is made by MAK-Corp, the article doesn’t say PiBoSo. So there can’t be any confusion.

    Well AFM I tested WRS PiBoSo and it really is not for me but hey we all have our own tastes. As for your material I have nothing against a Mod team putting a project together on their own. I like Reiza’s material using the leased ISI game engine and shortly will have their 2nd release on my PC. I understand that you may have taken some flak that people assume you are just trying to sell mods. In that respect if a mod team were to use copyrighted material and went through the process of getting the required licensing really there is no problem with that if that is what they choose to do. I have nothing against people trying to earn a living. If they have taken the time to do what’s needed to play straight and fly right. That is all the community could expect. Also please in no way take this post as any type of insinuation because it is not and for the most part may have nothing to do with what some people may think
