Volvo has released a promotional video for the upcoming free Volvo – The Game title made by Simbin.

Wish more car makers would do this sort of thing for free. Very cool.

I notice it has the very nice RacePro style Hud. Which, admittedly, I’ll probably turn off anyway

Wow! Did Volvo hire Simbin to sell more cars by increasing brand awareness (less tv commercials viewed because of DVRs and even less print media)? If so, this is great as it gives sim racing/driving and its programs their just validity in today’s modern world. Good on you Simbin! Yes, even BMW did this earlier last year with their free M3 driving program. Look forward in the future to other manufacturers doing this as well, now that almost every household has a decently powered computer and the availability of affordable steering wheels and pedals. Hey, even NASCAR has collaborated with an up and coming online simulation program that had been in development for years to increase it’s viewership, fans and profile. Ahh, the fruits of labor… I can practicaly taste them now!

Nice to see that the producer uses a racing wheel to control the car.
Last time i notized that it seems everyone use gamepads to show their new games. Sadly.
