VLN 2009 by Team GMT – New Nordschleife Previews

The German Modding Team is working on bringing the current VLN season to GTR2, adding the spectacular mix of touring and GT cars that race on the Nürburgring Nordschleife to the simulation.

The team is not just working on the cars though but also on a proper playing field as new previews of a majorly overhauled Nürburgring Nordschleife for GTR2 have been released.

The new Nordschleife comes with lots of details from the 2009 season such as the new grandstands and the rollercoaster, new textures and plenty of other improvements. The track will support 103+ AI cars, a 24h-race version is planned as well.

    I imagine it will be released for rFactor OR rFactor2 when the VLN 2009 mod is out for rFactor.

    It is based on GTR Evo from SimBin and then it is illegal to release it for rFactor, even for GTR2 I am not sure that SimBin agrees with that.

    isnt com8 working on a GTR Evo NS conversion for the vln 2009 mod for rFactor. As far I know there will be a DVD check…

    Correct me if Im wrong….

    by the way, I have almost all the Simbin’s games, I just dont really like them.

    For God’s sake lads, this work is from scratch and has nothing to do with GTR Evo, hencefor this track and the whole mod is LEGAL.
    Anyway there’s another VLN 2009 mod for rFactor by Team NLC, so don’t worry kocsiss. Btw are you hungarian?

    yes Im :) and yeh I know about the mod by NLC. it will be great, I just dunno the approx. release date :/

    Suppose you did’nt see the video to the end ? It says “based on GTR Evolution Nordschleife by Simbin” – right there in the credits :P

    I can’t recall the over the top Simbin version looking so great.
    They may have worked with the track meshes, but this is much more than just a conversion!

    Would be great to have it for both rF and rF2. Would be interesting too if you can drive the different GP-Track layouts without the Schleife aswell, so GP-Course, Short and the old layout of Turn 1 which they still use for the 24h race :) .

    én 1-2 hónapja olvastam egy hirt ahol azt irték hogy még az első részre adják ki, aztán ha több infójuk lesz az rf2 ről ( gondolom miután kiadták ) utána elkezdik konvertálni rf2 re.
    persze szerintem ez még mind csak elmélet.. :/
