After lots playing around with the idea, I finally went ahead and bought myself an Apple Mac. So from now on, this blog will be run by Mac software, not that it changes anything but I feel like letting you know :)
After spending many years with Windows computers, it will take me a while to get adjusted to all the Mac stuff. And since I like sharing my thoughts (which got me to start this very site), I´ve started a blog that will have some stories about my Mac adventure – MacRookie.net
So if anyone of you has ever thought of switching to the virus-free side of computing, it might be an interested read.

Good for you, Montoya. My fiance just bought a mac book air, the quality is astounding compared to all other laptops I have ever owned. OSX takes some getting used to but in the end it’s better at performing the same functions Windows does, albeit with out all the software support.

Good change!!!
Give it a chance to test free soft, as with the Linux distribution Ubuntu.
Is also an excellent OS, it still hurts I have to have a partition with windows for games…

good luck Montoya with the Mac Adventure.
We use (some) Mac’s at school, and I love them, to bad you can’t play Windows games on them (yes bootcamp I know)…

Congrats.
I’ve been using a Mac for about 1 year and a half. Didn’t feel the need for a PC at all, only for simracing :)

Cool change, I love Macs.
I think you need to check up on viruses though. At the last hacking competition the fastest computer cracked via Web trojan was the new MacBook Air, it took 2 minutes.
So, use the Mac like you would the PC, don’t trust questionable Web sites, don’t run anything you don’t trust. As much damage can be done to a Mac as PC.
