Modding for Paolo Cattani’s Virtual Grand Prix 3 simulation seems to really pick up the pace as more and more projects modding for the simulation have been announced.
Below is the newest one, the Grand Prix Games Super League (GPSL) mod by JimmyC, bringing Formula 2-style cars that should be easier to handle than the more powerful F1 machinery. Below a first preview video, showing the new car from various angles.
Virtual Grand Prix 3 features a full field of Formula cars and five different tracks. The sim sells for reasonable 14,90€ including one year of updates, a free demo is available on the VGP3 website.

Great news! Hope more modders to discover this excellent simulation.
In terms of physics engine (tyre physics, FFB), VGP3 is far better than ISI gMotor, IMO.

It would be great to see some tracks or cars of the same quality we have in rFactor: I’m really curious to know where the limit of the engine is and a highly detailed mod would probably give a boost to VGP3 visibilty!
And Formula Fantasy 2009 looks interesting too!
This one is a good starting point, for sure!
