Varano de’Melegari 2010 for rFactor & GTR2 – Released

Elwood and mad-horse have released a new version of their popular Varano de’Melegari for rFactor and GTR2, adding several new improvements to the Italian venue.

While the new rFactor version now comes with a Gymkhana layout as main improvement, the GTR2 version is also updated to 2010-spec just like the past rFactor version that was released last December.

Features

- New Gimkana layout, completely on tarmac. Fantasy Layout.
- Added a layer of weed, simulating the thickness of the grass with few poly.
- Some new objects, before the new modification planned in 2011.

Also known as the Autodromo Riccardo Paletti, Varano de’Melegari is a 2.374 kilometer permanent road course, primarly used by smaller series and for track day events.

Important: Please use 7Zip 9.20 to extract the downloaded file to avoid extracting failures.

    Extracting comes up with errors, could you look into it and provide aditional mirrors please. Current rfactor one is extremely slow (25kb)

    try to extract files with 7zip. Winrar happens to have troubles with .7z files sometimes

    You guys need to use 7Zip – WinRar has always had issues with those files

    Guys, tracks are packed with 7zip v9.20, it’s freeware and very effective with lzma2 compression.
    Sorry, my fault to don’t use a simply zip compressor, be patient. :)

    Use Winrar not 7zip to unzip. Took me a while to get the Gymkhana down.

    Tried downloading the new 7zip and still have the same problem (unsupported compression), can someone who has it working RAR it up and upload it elsewhere please. I really want to attack this rally stage, lol.

    Why pack it with a not widely used compressor?
    A compressing RAR on it’s highest settings would not be any bigger.
