Development of the V8 Star Mod for rFactor and GTR2 is progressing nicely as the creators have released some new previews. The shots show the Jaguar model as well as the completely finished BMW 557i model.
The discontinued V8 Star series was a German Touring Car championship with equal Roush V8-powered silhouette cars that roughly resembled several road cars. The series went out of operation in 2003 but will not be forgotten by its die-hard fans.

The mod includes almost the full field of the 1985 season, only the Alfa Romeo 184T & the Renault RE60 have not been included. Virtua_LM has released new previews of another stunning track creation for rFactor, showing us new shots of the Japanese Fuji Speedway in late 80s specification. Located near the famous Mount Fuji in Oyama, Japan, Fuji Speedway was opened in 1963. The track was a popular venue for sports car races as the track was part of the FIA World Sports Car Championship for Group C prototypes from 1982 to 1988. Alless has released his Audi R15 TDI for GTR2, adding Audi's current Le Mans Prototype challenger to the simulation. Introduced in 2009, the R15 is Audi’s second Diesel prototype for the Le Mans 24 Hours. Even though Codemasters announced that their Formula One 2010 game will be revealed to the media on March 17th, first details have now been disclosed via the Official Xbox Magazine. The four-page preview article includes first-ever preview screenshots of the upcoming game, showing various cars in action on several tracks. Also included are first previews of the game's impressive wet weather effects.
