Following the successful release of their VLN 2005 mod for rFactor, Team NLC has now announced a new project as the team has started working on the 2009 season of Germany’s Nordschleife-bound endurance racing series.

The 2009 VLN season is due to start next Saturday and the team is already busy collecting data and photos. The series usual mix of powerful GTs, touring cars and nimble tin tops is enriched by plenty of interesting new cars this year, including the Alpina B6 as well as Audi’s brand new R8 GT3 LMS.

Given the amount of cars that need to be completed for this mod,  the team is always looking for new members to join them. So if you like VLN racing and have skills in terms of 3D or 2D/texturing, make sure to drop them a mail here. Despite tackling a huge new challenge with the 2009 season, the team will also continue working on the promised updates for the 2005 mod.
